PLOT: Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) always feels like an outsider, but he defines himself through his victories as a street racer. His hobby makes him unpopular with the authorities, so he goes to live with his father in Japan. Once there and even more alienated, he learns about an exciting, but dangerous, new style of the sport. The stakes are high when Sean takes on the local champion and falls for the man's girlfriend.

I always loved how when they drift through the crowd it goes silent, still gives me chills.
Law enforcement agencies around the world take a very dim view of such behaviour and judges will sentence you to a decent spell in prison.

This is the most intense final race in the entire franchise. The stake, the cars, the motivation behind the race all was captured beautifully in the final showdown.
Gives me the chills when takashi accelerates after seeing his friend in the crash 0:30
When I first saw this movie I thought Takashi was smiling after he saw the crash, that's when I was too young to understand that the look on someone's face doesn't AUTOMATICALLY define their emotions

@@jennyleung92 Morimoto was emotional against Sean because he got his cheeks clapped. So Takashi hunting Sean's ass was the perfect excuse to go on him.

6:17 When I was watching Tokyo Drift for the first time in my life I had chills in that part.
I had chills throughout that whole scene thinking that Sean was gonna get knocked off the road, those shots showing his car at cliff's edge though😬😬😳😳

It's actually weird. His car isn't faster than Z, more or less they were keeping up with each other in terms of speed but he overtakes him drifting on the outside where Z clearly had an advantage being in the inner road and in the lead having more speed...

Remember when Han said that he had never raced against DK because there was no point. He'd only race for something important...
..well he's racing against DK here and was clearly winning. Only after seeing Sean getting bullied by DK during this scene did he pull back and decide to handle DK himself.
Well technically it wasn't a race, because a race has a point-to-point destination where drivers are competing, this isn't a competition, it's more of a chase. Sean and Han are running while DK and the other guy was chasing.
I consider it as a death street race but it does clearly show that DK could not catch Han. The former could just outrun Sean but given the fact that Morimoto died, DK went double down and decided to kill both. To add things to perspective, when Han let Sean to take over, he purposedly slow down to let Sean get away however the latter is too inexperienced in a street race to outrun both behind.

This scene is the reason that Tokyo drift is the best fast and furious movie. They drift through crowd in the city recklessly and they fight their way out. Super guns and spaceships and such moronic stuff are completely pointless and they are boring too.

DK is one of the best villains in the franchise, Tokyo Drift! DK will be in FX and so is Neela, Han, Sean and Twinkie! All these cast of Tokyo Drift will all be in FX! Neela was with DK but now Neela is with Sean! DK has to chase Han and Sean to have Neela back! Han was killed by Deckard Shaw in Tokyo Drift, F&F6, F7 but in F9 Mr. Nobody has resurrected his life and saved him from Deckard Shaw! Deckard Shaw has went from a villain from F&F6 and F7 to antihero in the Fate of the Furious and H&S! Han is back from the dead and is back on Dom’s team to take down Cipher and Otto in F9!
If you watch the uncut clips takashi wasn't bad after all, he begin to lose everything after sean appear in his life
