My wife and I did this a month ago, launching from Tobmermory but there was a bit of a wind, so didn't venture quite as far as the Grottos, although it turns out we were close. Still some specatular scenary along the way. However, I can feel your pain with the flies. When we got close to shore, they were brutal, targeting our feet and ankles biting through our water shoes.
That is great but too bad about the wind. Just means you have to go back again! oh yes the flys no one talks about the flys there lol wait to you see todays video part 2 they just cover the switch. Thanks so much for checking the video out and for reaching out hope you had a great weekend out there all the best Cheers!
Yes it is and you are right it is very steep and has that pole on it so makes it fun. Was not sure how the Switch was going to do with that steep of an angle but worked out great.
Jealous, jelly, jealous over here! I want to seadoo Tobermory so bad, but it's the 4+ hour drive with the seadoo on the trailer that keeps me from doing it. Great video as always, Mark!
Oh wow yes, I could see how that would hold you back but if you can make a weekend out of it you are right it is so worth it. As always appreciate the kind words all the best cheers!
Ah thank you so much. It has been nice to ride for sure! As for the maintenance all I have done is taking it to my BRP dealership and they winterize it for me. So new oil, fog the engine, new spark plugs tighten all the hoses and check the fluids. Then I have it shrink wrapped for the winter. As for during the season I just check the oil every few rides but have never seen any issues. so very low maintenance over all.
That is the Compact Sport so it comes in at 13 FT but you can still get 5 people on it no issues. I like it as still easy to tow around to places like this. It does look small but every one that has come on it is surprised buy the space and seating you have on it.
Nice to see the switch
Thanks so nice to get it out more!

Have not made it there this year yet. If I don't which I plan to at least I have this amazing video of yours.. Thanks again Mark...
Ah thank you so much Tim! Yes planning to go there and weather lining up makes it a hard trip to set up for sure.
Dyers Bay is an excellent boat launch! But very steep!
