There are some modular origami cats around on youtube.
I thing, it´s a good experiment to fold this cat-head and the body from one of the modular cats and test how it may look together.
But for this another folding-step on the cat-head maybe good:
on the backside of the finished head there is a corner folded to the top.
Fold it down to the center of the bottom edge
