Girl I just have to tell you, I LOVE YOUR style of coloring! I save every single thing you have done to you for inspiration and to help me because I would be lost in the sauce trying to figure out where to put what colors wherever! Lol I've only been coloring about a year, and Im getting better. I just can't for the life of me figure out the shading, but as every GOOD 3:28 colorist ON Herr has said, practice practice practice! . Have a quick question. So if I was rich I wouldn't care, BUT, IM NOT! Lol & we all know how pricy it can get buying pencils. (sorry if this turns into a journal! ) so I now own amazon basics, Star Joy Gold 120, all/Arteza & Arteza Wc, 72 Artisto & 72 Artisto wc, all/Prismacolors, all Prismacolor Scholars, & all of Black Widows. I originally got the Scholars because I thought since their so close to premiers, I could use those to practice with. Also the Artistos. Because their so cheap & I actually lo e them. (Well depending on the book because papers so diff). And now with makers being so popular, I got a small set of mid tone ohuhus, ohuhus wc brush pens (urgh on those! Lol) & skin tone set (Mei colours~ Temu). I mean I just starting to get use to pencils . But I do like when people combine them together because I love BRIGHT COLORS, I thought about getting a set of ther cheaperalcohol markers to practice with also, & then maybe getting just main colors I use alot of from Ohuhu. ( no way on copics,!,). So what do you think? Because I know how diff the brands go down on diff books, so should I suck it up & only use whatever I plan on using all the time? Or think it's good to practice using the "cheapies" also? I tell ya , I do like star joy golds. But again, depends on the book. But love those prices. I'll close out this journal now lol, what is your opinion?
@staceygraves4587 hi thank you so much 😊 i have the expensive prismacolor pencils but i like to use the cheaper castle arts pencils which i use in the colouring books, i dont think you need to spend a lot of money when you can get great results with cheaper pencils, it just takes time and practice 😊
