Just bought myself the milwaukee compressor, good bit of kit. It amazes me when I go to do a boiler service and the amount of customers that say, well the last engineer didn't do all this and that, crazy to think people are working on a gas appliance and the risks they are willing to take to get the job done quick. Anyway Doc, your slowing down on the video's, what's going on? Appreciate its crazy busy for everyone at the moment. No idea why I even want to watch videos on plumbing when I do it myself lol 🤷♂️🤣🤣
Hey mate Great video again 👍 The contract I work on we have lots of vaillant boilers , your right about the installers accidentally drilling into the plastic flue it has caused lots of issues !! Also the packing washer in the flue turret fails quite often , giving readings on the air intake 👍 First comment and might help others 😎
Thanks buddy. “ Packing washer” you mean the sponge type one on the turret or the flue seal on the hex to turret ? 🙏 the hex one is going bcos of Hi temps set 💯
@@drpipe yes mate the one that the flue sits into Part no 981227 It might help engineers who possibly think a flue seal has gone but in fact it’s just the packing ring As I say hope this helps 👍
We have loads of pro 28s on our contract and the issue with the failed packing ring seal is very common, we have our engineers check the air intake readings on every one now especially longer flues
We have a lot pros etc in our area aswell suppose it's just cause that many . Never changed so many heat exchangers flue seals diverted valves pressure sensors PC in ma life.wb seals fit the inner on them.
Dr pipe it’s when the boss says yeah just put the New boiler in and reuse the existing flue 😂😆🙄 BTW have you got a link for somewhere to order those flue screws you use? Cheers for the video mate!
The audio was particularly bad on most of this one Doc pipe. With the visual I got the jist of it. Maybe a try doing a voiceover whilst editing on the next one. Thanks for sharing 👍.
Cheers Doc, another good video. Beggers belief, so easy to chamfer the pipe and yet people can't be bothered 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Cheers bud

If that goes it’s only sucking fresh air in would effect Co but def not Room sealed no more 🙏

Should be done on every boiler where you can anyway

Love your videos but have you put more on the last one is 3 months old

Christ on a bike. That’s some boxing in for the flue. How do you inspect the joints. Is it open at the top. Great vid dr p
No lid on it mate 💯👍🙏🙏 just one in one out .
Great video and you are right in all that you say but there's no way that flue had s 3-4 Deg fall.
