How does on determine the correct size respirator?
I have such mask. I like it. When I was helping my grandparents to prepare for village season during self isolation, I saw my neighbour wearing 3m 6200 mask.
Comment puis-je savoir si je dois prendre un modèle small, medium ou large ?
How do I know if i have to buy a small, medium or large model ?
Who is here to get ready for Corona Virus?
@Jake McCoy is right but I am going to add this make sure you get filters with P3 protection
@@milandjuric3119 P2 level is also ok for virus and bacteria.
xenomorphelv426 just bought yesterday this mask and two pairs of p2 filters
Thanks alot! I bought one because of coronavirus, this video really helped!

@@brwmiara24 coronavirus exist, you idiot! Go get vaccinated yourself, and vaccinate all your family
That's dangerous stuff we are talking about
Perfect that is too good
Can anyone tell me how you work out what cartridges fit with this mask. I bought the mask expecting it would be straightforward to work out what cartridges I need and where to get them, but I can not find a listing anywhere. I am after something that filters out particles, eg when dry sanding polyurethane coated wood.
In this video I noticed how high the respirator fit on the bridge of her nose this wouldn't't be very comfortable or practical for eye glasses or goggles IMO of course it dependent on the glasses or goggles but still looks like a issue...should she have been wearing a small size respirator maybe? I'm looking at these and want to buy one but the problem I'm seeing is not knowing which size to purchase, on amazon they have a "Non-returnable due to product safety reasons" policy which means you can not return or exchange for different size. How is a person to know what size to choose?
What type of cartridges can be use? I have seen people walk with this now of the corona outbreak? Anyone?
I bought 7503 mask and neither the handle nor the mask inside was factory wrapped in foil. Only the filters were packed in factory-welded foil. It's normal?
I bought the 3m 52p71. will this protect from sprayed lacquer?
I use it with 100% ISOpropanol fumes and works fine. Works great with glass and carbon fibre application . Good for xylene based solvents too. Just need a bloody shave!
What happens on the inside of the 3m 2135 filters when they expire?
after how long these filter and cartidges expire?
how did you separate the respirator to inspect for damage?? (~0:53)
You can check it in the full instructional training video (in case the timestamp link doesn't work properly, it's at about 13 minutes in)

For how many months does 3M 2097 basic filter last long ???
same question
Help me out guys cuz I bought one just recently but the only articles I read about it is for woodwork and not healthcare settings. Did I just make a mistake or what ?
The exhaust is unfiltered. In the healthcare field, the exhaust needs to be filtered to protect patients. If that's the case, you're better off getting a N95 non-valve mask.
I’m not tryna get coronavirus man
Been using this for a month or so. I find that it’s become increasingly difficult to attach the plastic case to the silicon mask. I’m not getting the 2 clicks consistently (as advised by 3M instructions) upon pressing near the triangle area and near the exhalation valve area. My thumb now hurts each time I’m trying to put this respirator together after cleaning. If anyone has suggestions, would appreciate them. Thank you.
Check if the "tracks" where the filters attach to the mask are damaged. You may be twisting the filters the wrong way. I almost did it to my new mask the first time I attached my filters.
@@juicyfruit6311, I wasn't referring to the "tracks" for the filters. Mine are intact. My problem is with attaching the head harness assembly to the silicon part.
@@juicyfruit6311 hey after how long these filter and cartidges are exired.
If you try to negative pressure check surely wouldn'tthere always be a little air coming in around the exhaust? I presume in normal use this wouldn't be a big factor since least resistance means the air would want to come in through the filters/cartridges.. but still it makes me paranoid about the seal.
Should you still be able to smell fumes through 6035 filters?
No you shouldn’t- either the size/fit of the mask is wrong or you’re using the wrong type of filter.
This or 6500 series?
Excuse me, dose any one can tell me? I want to know about filter, how many times I can use each filter?
S O B h i Kim once u have hard time to breath is time to replace
joao tino Thank you so much 😀
Filters should be changed everytime i go out or can they be disinfected with alcohol?
These filters can be used as long as 6 months, replace when you find it difficult breathing. Please avoid Alcohol based disinfectants for cleaning. Use Clorox disinfectant wipes or Bleach(Sodium Hypochlorite) solution with appropriate measures. Or you can use Hypochorous Acid. Alcohol based wipes tend to damage the Silicon cover and other materials over time. CLOROX disinfectant wipes have Quarternary Ammonia( Di-Decyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride) or you can use wipes from 3M. I would suggest using wipes when you use it in less particulated area. Keeping it dipped in bleach works great as all parts are submerged for atleast 5-10 mins.
Is applicable to be used against the COVID19?
If you have the correct filter then yes. We've been using 3M 7500 series masks at work for a few years now and they are good respirators if used properly.
How do you filter the air exhaled by the end user?
Can we reuse 3M 2097 basic filter after sanitizing or we have to buy the another one after sometime?
I am from India Chennai here is any dealer pls
what if we have some beard?or stuble beard?will it interfere?with this respirator
GamersForLife they literally said no facial hair.
@@vmethod but is not it obvious?no one can always be cleaned shave
@@vmethod this is a very bad requirement imo.
@@vmethod i mean will it damage hair?is it useful with some beard?or we need to be clean shaved?they did not answer that in video...
@@gamersforlife3440 The instructions on the manual say you need to be clean shaven, or it will not work. It needs to be an airtight seal.

And Decepticon
I just buy this product and hope it will help me to fight covid!!!
Hey! does this worked for your flight? please share your experience
@@jorgemercado5750 I haven't had experience in flight.. but maybe for flight you can wear N95 mask
Love this 'pirator but you need to bloody shave!!!!
Is this coronavirus proof?
For viruses, you must get P2/P3 certified filters like 6035/6038, these filters are roughly equalivent to FFP3/N100/HEPA filtration. Only ABEK certified filters won't work. Albeit wearing sole mask won't make good protection. You must care not to touch in public places, wash your hands whenever you can, clean your daily items like phones etc.
Kaya Schaubloren só p2 2128 series like i have are useless for corona ?
Please stop eating bats, cats and rats. Thanks. Planet Earth.

MASKER
Normal public buying these products would cause scarcity for medical professionals
True. But, some of us have had these long before Covid-19 came into existence.
In California, there was already a scarcity of N95 and other masks because of the bad air quality due to the wildfires. I had a 10 pack of N95 masks that I got on sale from Amazon for about $7.00. In December 2019, I think it was going for around $60 to $100 USD. When the Wuhan flu hit, the prices shot up even more.
FYI - I been using N95 for years to clean bagless vacuums, for yard work, and clean my guns. All that crap that comes out and floats in the air isn't good to breathe.
