- Due to Jamaica Yard having a shortage of R160s, Coney Island's R46, R68, and R68A cars have been operating on the G Line until further notice. This has resulted in Concourse Yard loaning trains to the B, Q, and G Lines. Here we see two R68 consists from Concourse Yard running on the Q Line, something quite rare. We also see R211A 4335-4339 testing on the Brighton Line.

some rare appearances of these trains might be on the N and W lines possibly
Yup! Right now they’ve only been seen on the B, G and Q Lines…
@@Transitboyy6585 That's what I had told y'all the R46S is gonna be on the B and sometimes on the D trains to back up the R68s R68As if they have macanical problems.
Does anyone know why the N,Q and W is using older trains? I hate this so much
The real reasons why they have the R46S on the Q W N lines because of the trains swapped for the R160s on the E F R G lines for CBTCs. That's the reason why they don't have the R160s on the N W Q lines. However the R211As will definitely be on the N W Q lines I tell y'all that right now dogs 🐕. It May not happen now it's definitely gonna happen sooner or later. Just like the R62AS from the 7 Flushing line had to come back home on the Pelham 6 line for the R142As that were sent to the 7 Flushing line for CBTCS and Jerome Ave line.
Pretty soon the R68S R68AS Is definitely gonna be used for spare parts including the R62AS R62s on the 1 9 3 6 S lines and the R46S is definitely gonna be on the open cut.
It will probably be this way for years until the R68s retired. Coney Island will get all of the Concourse R68s because the D train needs to use NTTs for CBTc
@@Carl-Romerohas Broadway ever had CBTC before?
@ Not yet it's going to be soon before they implement it on Broadway
