The difference between the GS Pro and the Launch Monitor Carry Distance numbers are consistent with GS pro and all launch monitors. Neither GS Pro, nor the physical LM measure Carry Distance.... it is calculated number using an algorithm based on inputs from the actual MEASURED metrics like Club Speed, Ball Speed, Spin etc depending on the brand of LM. Each LM brand uses its own algorithms and GS Pro likewise has a different algorithm altogether .... hence the difference. If you were to use two different branded physical LM's and GSpro, you would get 3 different Carry Numbers.... Hope that explains the Carry discrepancy.
Thank you for the honest review, sounds like once the connection issues are solved will be a solid buy. Btw I think the difference in the numbers between game and LM is normal in Gspro, the in game yardages are using in game conditions I think. Think there is an option somewhere that u could tell Gspro to use the LM carry numbers.

Hi, wireless is NOT the only option to connect to the PC while gaming, you can wire it directly with ethernet cable. It boils down to both devices needing to be on the same network. If they are, then they should communicate fine regardless of whether they are using ethernet or wifi. Both should have IP addresses, usually something like 192.168.0.x or 192.168.1.x. You can check the IP address of the mini from the front panel of the device: Menu/Settings/Status. On the PC there are several ways but I usually type ipconfig from the a command prompt. If the ip's are mismatched then they won't see each other.
Connecting direct is a new thing. I spoke with a guy from uneekor not long ago and was told wireless was only option. We were on with their tech support yesterday for an hour trying to figure it out and it was the first I’ve heard of direct connecting. He said there was definitely weird things going on with ours. Update coming soon on how it runs after. We had an entire day we couldn’t connect before so hopefully it operates better now
Apparently Uneekor will be coming out with high end graphics soon. I think that camera view of the club is awesome. Wish it was priced $1K lower to make it a no brainer against BLP.
REALLY good video, thanks for making it. Are you able to put a plexiglass cover over it so people don't break the thing one way or another? Also, how do you handle settings etc. with GSPro and customers (do they mess with it, how do you ensure e-mail and privacy, etc). Super nice to hear the opinion of someone that is running a sim business. Last - has Uneekor switched to making you pay an annual fee with the overhead units in addition to the Eye Mini? I think I read they have. Seems like the BLP is a better "deal" since you don't HAVE to have a subscription for just sim use.

Have you tried checking the box for use LM carry in GSPro? Really curious to if that solves your issue.

No problem with connect here. You can direct connect this unit with an Ethernet cable.
Also, on the view Range, is there an option to follow the ball after shot? Or is it just static from behind?
Are you still having connection issues since filming?
I am confused, the manual clearly states there is an ethernet PC connection and comes with a cable?
It’s for setting it up. They have now updated it to be used that way. Originally when it was released it wasn’t an option
