Thanks Gam Properties Gambia for you kind and generous heart,I'm a part of Jaborah community and would like to start a foundation to assist our new community..thanks for sharing this video..You also mention the kids don't go to school we need to set up a school for our kids..I will reach out to you for more information..
Thanks for all your wonderful considerations. Looking forward to building a community of diasporans who will collectively contribute in their own development as well as that of the villagers. Again thank you.
Definitely would like to support the hospital it has good bones and wouldn’t take much to bring it up to spec…is it open where are the patients? Need at least three ambulances or more can create many jobs if fully staffed and functioning…Diaspora and returnees can volunteer time to give computer classes and such..I will be there part of the year and would certainly look to help any way I can…
Rural hospitals in the Gambia are usually not fully staffed with healthcare professionals and therefore, only treat patients who are less acute and immediately after treatment the patients are discharged. Acute patients are immediately rushed to the bigger hospitals in Brikama and other bigger towns. Therefore, in my opinion the most important need of the Jiboroh hospital is a working ambulance and after that trained staff who can perform simple medical procedures. Thank you.
I love Gambia, humble people.I wish to have some finance to help sustain this hospital and save lives, buy clinical materials, teach people how they can plough back to the hospital by keeping it clean and offer free cleaning service, doing gardening at least once a month, and those who have more to put resources how little that can be and let these humble people if the land I have fallen in love with live and cherish the gift God Almighty has given them.I see peace on this land, good and humble people.May God Almighty lead me here to live peacefully with His people
Please bring me there and let me use my love of doing things there,I see myself changing most of things there by just using hands, painting, gardening, baking etc
I just want to say a massive thank you for trying to bring about change in the way you are doing. I am honestly inspired and i promise you i will do the same thing you are doing. Please keep it going
I see myself there, baking roti, buns, bread and bring those mangoes for delicious dish but affordable and using the land to produce food, plant vegetables, potatoes, carrots, spinach, and kinds of edibles and medicibal, like mint ,thyme, rosemary etc
I'm looking at that land,it looks fertile,if I was there I would request the government to lease the land free to the people and grow vegetables to eat and sell and make project of refurbishing those roofs, making community groups to donate little monies and buy in bulk rice ,flour, powder soap, and find how we can do things for ourselves and make that community the pride of Gambia
I can answer that Gambia is a poor country because there are data both in and out of the country to show that unemployment is very high and also that the number of people living below the poverty line is very high. I do not accuse people without evidence so I cannot say if anyone is embezzling public funds.
Give more information about your needs and how their donations would help. Please don't talk in generalities trying to be as specific as possible. Also have Way to make it easy to give... PayPal, GoFundMe and cash app. Thanks.
I agree that I should provide more info on what charities I will support in The Gambia, and how people can support those charities; I promise I will do that at some point. I currently run a business in the Gambia and work full time in the US and that is no easy task. But I will definitely start a charitable organization at some point or at minimum a go fund me account and every dime that's put into that account will be given to charity, recorded and posted on the channel. Again, thank you.
I am so excited about becoming a part of this Jiborah community! Count me in as a financial supporter of one of more of their most urgent needs.
