Kung fu panda 2 was one of the very first movies I happened to watch in a theater. Shen was truly terrifying and reminiscent of historical conqueror- figures with big ego that ultimately led to their demise.

I like how in the first movie Tai lung challenges po physically, Shen challenged him mentally and Kai challenged him spiritually This movie has taught us alot

Trying his best to fulfill a prophecy and to prove the Soothsayer and everyone in his life wrong Emotion -> Shen. Goes through the 5 stages of grief and you can see the despiration and denial on his face when the Soothsayer says "They loved you." Quotes -> Shen. Basically every time he talks(other than "WHAAT?" and "Eh... Hey.") are quotes. Shen wins Mid-Diff.
Shen would not beat Tai Lung in a fight. Him alone admited that his skills are not match to Kung fu. And Tai Lung is probably most skilled Kung fu fighter in the series

Shen wasn't mean to be evil, and that scene where he checks the dark side of the firework, he found out the power of it in which he wws trying to remove the dangerous part of it, then his parents thought he was planning on evil stuff, so they consulted his old nanny for some reason... And with that the prophecy scared her, he doesnt even attack nor threaten her, after all he doesn't blame her even though she caused his bad side...
