The biggest disadvantage to two fingers for me is the limitation of certain weapons, i.e. SGs & Snipers. You have to get creative automating things and using the left hand shot button (depending on your HUD layout) so you can quickly aim and out. Hipfire is also difficult for these weapons. You can still be a good player, but there's a hugh competitive level you won't ever achieve by only playing 2 fingers (which won't matter unless you plan on getting paid to play this). Some snipers are still pretty good with two fingers, and mastering those can make it worthwhile. Artic 50 and Raytec have good follow up timings, so instead of having to switch and do all the slide movements, you can just fire again. XPR would also be viable if it scoped out of ADS after each shot.
Or if you're getting paid but just wanted to have fun and don't want to be try hard, keep using 2 thumbs if you're comfortable using it than 3 or 4 fingers.
For sniping, I use the function that the shot is triggered after it is released (Settings --> Press customize and change sniper from hip-fire to ADS). Super helpful and fast enough in most cases!
@Julian George yep, and some weapons do have a near immediate weapon swap time when you have Amped. Artic 50 and ZRG have fast weapon swap times which automates a lot of the movement you'd need with more fingers. ZRG also plays less aggressively, so the need to do all the multitasking is minimized due to its playstyle. 2 fingers is definitely a viable option for Legendary.
How many fingers do you use to play 🤔. Btw one thing I wanna clarify, the left index finger that i have kept above the screen is there only to make me feel comfortable. Ibarely used it to hipfire during the handcam🤔
i only use 2 and yes its true i get mvp 80% of the time in rank even if we lose the only true isiue i have its when the game randomly frezes and when i get lag spikes
@Eduardo👍 with two thumbs long range fck me up but close to close combat I'm alright that's one thing I notice. Also, using aim assist you can tell even if you miss your shot you still kill your opponent.
I see almost no difference if aim assist is on or off. And aim assist is so inconsistent in the game, sometimes it's strong and you feel it, other times I swear it's not there at all
@@JalenRose02 i don't think its an actual aim assist it basically makes more of the shots you clearly missed somehow connect anyway, thats not aim assist lmao.
2 Thumb Player since the game released, got legendary every single season... main problem remains the same for all sort of players: the multi-touch (f.e. iPhone 14 and Google Pixel) still lags so 3 actions at a time won't work every time (like slide'n'shot ...) anyone can relate?
I moved to 4 finger HUD couple of months back and it indeed improved my games skills a lot in terms of movements and using the separate Aim button and Shoot button instead of relying on the Aim+Shoot button. Now it seems more competitive. But to be honest, I kind of miss the old 2 Finger HUD days, when it was just a simple game and CODM was fun to play and not some competition to win, giving more stress.😢😞
We all started as two Thumb players, along with the Default HUD, and to those who used Two fingers, or still stuck in Default HUD, I respect you. I mean disadvantages could quickly be noticed in Two Thumbs, like Really fast paced movements, and Simultaneous actions like fire and Prone. Hats off to those players who still don't give up No matter what device, method or whatsoever bothering them. First, I love using snipers generally, however I'm using The ADS button, instead of the Aim and Shoot method. I pretty much adjusted to the situation and Surely enough, my skills Drastically changed, the way snipers work, or the convenience of it. Still if you had the skill nevertheless what device you're using, you'll still dominate others. ❤
I will always stay 2 fingered cuz I am still not used with 3 or more fingers, and I use a hud similar but different form the default hud, I noticed the disadvantages but just used it to learn faster reaction time and helped me do faster imputs
I play with 4 fingers Left index - ads fire botton and hipfire Right index - jump, prone, ads and relode Left thumb - joystick and scorestrick Right thumb- aim, weapon switch, slide and all other stuff I don't use right index for slide or crouch because I was unable to find a good position for it 😃
As a two thumbs player, using sr is the thing that i avoid since its hard to keep up with others using 2 fingers. Since i cant move while using hipfire, i always counter it with prefire and pre aim. And the major problem to me is that i use my left point finger to press the move joystick so switching to left thumb is hard for me.
im also a 2 thumb player but i dont avoid snipers they are pretty fun :D and playing with 2 thumbs aint that bad (even tho im in a disadvantage at controlling my shots for long ranges and not being able to get as much freedom with my movement) but its mostly just my darn device that keeps bothering me for so long fps drops and freezes here and there lmao
When I was a 2 finger player I thought that only pros could switch to 4 fingers but it's really not that hard and it takes less than a week to get used to 4 fingers and it makes you so much better
As an experienced two thumb player and recent controller player of the game, the major differences between the two things I used in the game is indeed different. However, I had the most fun being a thumbs player on the go when I don't have my controller.
When this game was released i used to be a 2 thumb player, time goes by it made me realized that im lack of mobility and my thumbs tends to do multitasking and no hipfiring in gunfights. Thats when i decide to use a 4 finger claw type. I copy the default controls of my old favorite fps games in psp and ps2, the typical right point finger for firing button and left point finger for ads. Now i can also enable to do hipfire in cqc.
Yeah, two thumbs player here and I've fought against many claw users and learned their tricks. I usually put the hipfire button on the right side where the aim-to-shoot button is, and the operator skill is on the left. Btw that bg music you used for the video is pretty lit, could I know the name of the song?
I am a "only 2 thumbs" player with basic (default) settings in COD Mobile since past 3 & a 1/2 years & I am fortunate to achieve 4 times Legendary rank till date. I can totally relate with this post of yours.
I was using 4 fingers and then changed to 2 fingers because I feel more comfortable with 2 fingers, but after every like 15 games when my aim gets bad I change back to 4 fingers which my aim drastically improves then i play until my aim is bad after that I go back to 2 fingers and dominate again and I don't know why that happens.
Hello I'm a 2 finger player, and my left thumb is to manipulate the movement of my hud, and my right does all the work, I'm a master on sniper, till this day I am still a 2 finger player 😊
I am a thumb player too though has some disadvantages also while using it. But you are really a good inspiration for thumb players like us. Thank you so much for the video because the frustration we feel when we play against claws enemies then such inspiring video really gives us confidence. In last two matches I was able to make 19 and 21 kills in ranked Frontline and TDM and became MVP because of your last video inspiration. Thanks again. Keep up the good work man.
I was a two thumb player before but then I switched to four finger claw and I had seen a lot of improvements after that. I played as a two thumb player for almost 3 years and now I got a new device and switched to four finger claw which took me almost a week to adjust to.
Once you latch onto that feeling and start playing with 2 thumbs, your aim, accuracy and movement ( even the complicated ones) will drastically improve. This information is given to you by a player who's been playing with 2 thumbs for about 2 and a half years.
For me as a sniper main that plays with just 2 fingers I used some of the sniper movement which helps me out a lot, downside is the grenade part you mentioned (also nice gameplay)
I am personally a 2 thumb player and i do MVP a lot of legendary matches , though you have disadvantage of less finger but with good enough skills you can be really good
2 thumb players here, and having used sniper rifles and shotguns before, I beg to differ. You simply have to change your playstyle a bit when you use those weapon classes. Automatic shotguns and rifles(M14 is an example to this) are easy enough, but for pump-action/lever-action shotguns and bolt-action rifles, since they're slow due to manual operation, you'll want to be extra precise with your shots; simply spray and pray will only work against you(unless you got lucky). Instead, lead them close into your crosshair before shooting at them, compensating the lack of movement speed with aiming speed. Use that shock and awe tactic; surprise them by jumping out from "nowhere"(blind corners), or "sit down" on one of the objective points during the Domination game mode. Your call.
I’m a two thumbs players, and I really enjoy using sr, but the one drawback for me is blankscoping, since while I can do it I can’t align my crosshair to be accurate and it takes very quick thumb movements to do it
I have been playing with thumbs since S1 of codm. IMO nothing can beat 3.5 years of game sense. Yes there are the occasional og 6 finger players that dominate against me, but more often than not I'm still able to match them and counter them just based on my understanding of the game. It's honestly not a problem as long as you stay confident about your skills and don't let a couple of losses or bad games get to your head. As for the new players, they're a piece of cake 😆.
God this made me remember the days i was in a clan while playing with 2 fingers against ipad sweats and me being a psycho with inly nades and rpg.... It was when the mythic fennec dropped and life was bad
Dude youre absolutely awesome i love your vids your gameplay and of course your style and being in the top 100 in global with a low end device and also just 2 fingers wow man you're just amazing keep up the good work! Edit: oh sorry I forgot to say I use 6 fingers and aim with my index fingers
Sometimes its hard to be a 2-thumbs player but It proves me that whether I die so many times but in the other hand I could still manage to kill and dodge every enemy I encounter to the game.
Playing this game from the day it was released and here is my Claw & Game history Season 1 - 5 (2019 - 2020) 2 fingers Season 6 (2020) 6 fingers Season 7&8 (2020) 5 fingers Season 9 - 12(2020 -2021) 4 fingers then 1 year gap (because of space issues in mobile) Then I bought a new phone with better storage. I can't remember but in later 2022 when there was the FIFA collaboration I just played that season using the 4 finger claw then deleted it because of studies cuz If you are in India like me we have to write board exams in 10th and 12th so I had to do well in 9th so I focused on my 9th studies. Now I am 10th and Since its my summer holidays I have downloaded it again last week and I am super rusty(BTW I still use the 4 finger claw) and I am proud to say I hit grandmaster In 1 week and I am back on track in terms of gameplay and I am also right on time for the champs but I might have to delete the game again once my summer break ends because yeah I have board exams ........ Lets keep this comment as a rant like thing so yeah. btw Love you vids keep posting awesome news on codm . Have a grat day thanks for spending your time on reading this long comment😃😀
I used to be terrible with thumbs especially with snipers until i trained my self for claw and ended up becoming rlly good and im playing iphone x with claw so i deff recommend trying to learn it
We both have similar Hud style ❤ btw which phone brand is that? I have a OnePlus 9 and it passes the kkrrrrttt sound test , specially when recording 😂😂
I play with 2 fingers….and presently I am sitting with 10 times reaching legendary in mp, 4 times reaching 10k+ rank one time reaching top 5k…yes downside is I don’t use hip firing at all…and many times I get killed due to this..but I have optimized my game by going with those guns that have basically fast aim down sight and less recoil for better accuracy and lastly i am sliding more often to decrease players with hip fire capability…
I have big hands/fingers and I played on an iphone thumbs only. I got an ROG 6 pro that changed a little with air triggers. Finally this year i switched to an ipad pro 12.9 M2 started with 4 fingers now I use 6 fingers. But i have nothing but respect for those who can play aggressive with claw on mobile devices.
I feel like so many people are going to hate this but I don't use my aim button. Whenever I ADS I just hold on the Right fire button regardless If I'm on phone or iPad, in fact I use the aim button at the centre of my screen
am playing using the thumbs since the start. attained leggy 5 times with them. and i dont think ill be switching anytime soon. i do agree that there are several disadvantages of using only the thumbs. like while using SGs and DMRs and i do get my butt kicked all the time by four finger sweats😅. but i still figured out ways to use them by doing some tweaks to the hud. like putting the aim button over the movement controls so i can tap it while moving without much problem. sometimes i do have to bring my left index finger in when i need to sweat too much but it gets uncomfortable and painful quickly cuz my fingers are long. its not that i encourage everyone to play with their thumbs, but it obviously is possible to play decently with them.
i use 4 fingers but i always have that 2 finger layout when im ready for some fun, even ranked, 2 fingers bring me 2019 vibes and is such a great way to play just for fun (using 4 fingers makes me automatically tryhard idk why i just cant play casual like that)
i play with thumbs but i use the tap to aim mode instead of the default one and same for the shoot button which i setted for hipfire only btw thanks for the vid im considering to start using 3 fingers because the jumpshots and the dropshots are a bit hard to do
Im a 2 thumb only player too. My disadvantages is that is way harder to back slide, & use certain weapons like sks, svd, xpr, m21. If i want to use those weapons i switch to my controller haha 😂. But im really good player that regularly get nukes because i normally use my ipad pro with speed acceleration on high and enabling 120 fps. Im literally the better than most of my friends in the lobby.
Okay hear me out i have been playing 2 finger since 2020 , the problem i previously faced was with snipes , but after making myself suffer for 1and a have year , by the end of 2022 i could finally snipe properly and almost completed the dlq mastery with diamond camo on it. In my opinion it takes time and effort to achieve something different.. Lol 😂
Well I'm a 2 finger legendary player, and I used my left thumb for movement and right for shooting, including hip fire, that way I can move while hip firing, and my thumbs r big,so I hv no problem using my right thumb for alot of the controls
2 finger and 3 finger usually restricts u to have an auto ads setting which makes pre firing and ads peeking impossible and in br i cant even think of a way to make some high jump slide movements with 2 fingers and i personally aim with gyro to make my fingers more accesible for movement
I play with five fingers! I used to play console a ton and got used to the claw grip, so I basically made my HUD look like an Xbox controller. I hold the phone with my right hand nearly facing away from me and my left cradles it
I play the DLQ and the locus, including The KRM-262, and yes it might have disadvantages of playing the game and the limiting of using guns but i can say in my experience is that you either need to have very fast hands to switch to your main and secondary gun/knife You will get used to sooner if you practice, for the shotguns i mainly learned from youtubers like @Kith and since then i’ve been using tactics and got quick how to use shotguns, But sometimes it’s harder for you to battle against ipad players as a legendary player lol
When I play on iPad I use 4 fingers. When I play on my phone I use 2 thumbs. And tbh when I play on my phone I smoke almost anyone in Legendary. Although I still prefer iPad because it's easier to use more fingers since it's a much bigger screen and the visuals are also better so it's easier spotting enemies
3 finger HUD player.. I use 2 accounts & Legendary on both. I also wanna switch to 4 finger HUD but on 6.5" phone I feel uneasy to use the 4th finger. After watching your video I'll try again.
I always played 4 fingers all the time i play COD, but sometimes when i want to do Ipad movements the buttons don't respond at all, like the sprint button that sometimes don't sprint even with full sprint sensitivity, also lag not gonna help me to be a pro, but i am still here, tryng to do my best in this game
I have auto fire on and it works excellently once you get used to it. Although there is a disadvantage that you can't shoot on vehicles. Sometimes, my teammates wonder why I am not doing anything when enemy is coming on a vehicle😅
I hope you know that you can add a weapon switch button instead of having to press either the primary or secondary icon. Therefore move the original icons to a spot where you still have visual of your ammo count. I used to play without it and when i changed it really helped alot. I am a 4 finger player now so this doesn't count to me...
I use dual index fingers since i feel like my thumbs are too small and i feel weird using thumbs. So i use index fingers where as my thumbs they suport my ipads weight sometimes i use middle finger but only when im ln scope for too long but i barely use middle.
I use 4 finger claw on my phone, and I'll say I win so many more gun fights that I'd lose if I was only using thumbs or even 3 fingers. 4 Is definitely the best to get started with in my opinion.
Straight to the game I use the 4 finger hud I'm not new to the 4 finger games I've been using 4 finger claw hud in every shooter game I have and the game is a blast by having 4 finger in your screen
2-3 fingers is totally viable, i play with my index finger so idk i would say i’m a 3 finger player but i do everything with my thumbs other than shoot and i drop 20-30+ kill games regularly, and i think my K/D is 4.58 or something like that last i checked, i dropped a couple 36 kill games back to back in TDM and a 60+ kill game In hardpoint so i feel like it’s definitely viable. Add me if you play a lot lol Verlon-Red is my tag
_Honestly I already got used to 2 thumbs, and no one is gonna force me to use 3 or 4 whether that makes me "pro" or not, I'm good at the game this way and that's how it's going to be, as for the disadvantages... I can manage to counter them :)_
I played the same way with 3rd thinger hipfire + ads Button, though after a while I've had a feeling that Id like to switch it up, it feels better with 4 fingers if u get used to it. But of course it is possible ppl just trashtalk on things they dont understand lol

As a thumb player I destroyed many 3,4,5 and 6 finger players 😈
Playing this game from the day it was released and here is my Claw & Game history
Season 1 - 5 (2019 - 2020) 2 fingers
Season 6 (2020) 6 fingers
Season 7&8 (2020) 5 fingers
Season 9 - 12(2020 -2021) 4 fingers
then 1 year gap (because of space issues in mobile)
Then I bought a new phone with better storage.

I currently use thumbs but after watching this video i guess i will switch to 3 finger claw.
I play 2 fingers but the fact is I'm on legendary in mp and gm4 in br
“You can’t be good is you play with two finger”
Me a top 5k player: plays with two fingers and never runs. 😂
Lets goo playboy that's what we talking about... big stealth💪🏾( if you got time ... link 2 the background music plz 🙏 )
Stealth which phone did you use for the video, shit feels smooth asf
Thumb player here. It's one reason i use melee so much, the instant kill and movement makes up for my lack of movement using a rifle.
That three fingers dude
I am a 2 thumb player, 7 time legendary and I am a Sniper Main. It has disadvsntages such as not able to blankscope or maximize movement ablities
Bro give me your switchblade loadout ❤ you're playing good with it btw you come 2 times in my match bro big fan you beaten me in nuketown and standoff
4 finger claw ftw ❤
am playing using the thumbs since the start. attained leggy 5 times with them. and i dont think ill be switching anytime soon. i do agree that there are several disadvantages of using only the thumbs. like while using SGs and DMRs and i do get my butt kicked all the time by four finger sweats😅. but i still figured out ways to use them by doing some tweaks to the hud. like putting the aim button over the movement controls so i can tap it while moving without much problem. sometimes i do have to bring my left index finger in when i need to sweat too much but it gets uncomfortable and painful quickly cuz my fingers are long. its not that i encourage everyone to play with their thumbs, but it obviously is possible to play decently with them.
i use 4 fingers but i always have that 2 finger layout when im ready for some fun, even ranked, 2 fingers bring me 2019 vibes and is such a great way to play just for fun (using 4 fingers makes me automatically tryhard idk why i just cant play casual like that)
i play with thumbs but i use the tap to aim mode instead of the default one and same for the shoot button which i setted for hipfire only btw thanks for the vid im considering to start using 3 fingers because the jumpshots and the dropshots are a bit hard to do
Im a 2 thumb only player too.
I first started with 2 thumbs and shoot to aim then worked my way up to 2 thumbs+Gyro and now 3 finger Gyro which I'm super comfortable with
2 finger and 3 finger usually restricts u to have an auto ads setting which makes pre firing and ads peeking impossible and in br i cant even think of a way to make some high jump slide movements with 2 fingers and i personally aim with gyro to make my fingers more accesible for movement
I play with five fingers!
I used to play console a ton and got used to the claw grip, so I basically made my HUD look like an Xbox controller.
I hold the phone with my right hand nearly facing away from me and my left cradles it
3 fingers is under rated ifeel like im the only person who plays like that
I am with you bro😂

Yep....i am a 2 thumb player,
And also I am casual player, not a tryhard,
And 4:01 is completely relatable...🙃
I play the DLQ and the locus, including The KRM-262, and yes it might have disadvantages of playing the game and the limiting of using guns but i can say in my experience is that you either need to have very fast hands to switch to your main and secondary gun/knife You will get used to sooner if you practice,
for the shotguns i mainly learned from youtubers like @Kith and since then i’ve been using tactics and got quick how to use shotguns, But sometimes it’s harder for you to battle against ipad players as a legendary player lol
2:48 For beginners using 2 thumbs can press fire button and it will scope automatically
I was recently a 2 thumb player but now I became a 4 finger
Two thumb gang 4 life! Getting my second Legendary this season. Just 2 more ranks to go.
I use dual index fingers since i feel like my thumbs are too small and i feel weird using thumbs. So i use index fingers where as my thumbs they suport my ipads weight sometimes i use middle finger but only when im ln scope for too long but i barely use middle.
My finger occupies the screen entirely it's just 2 though
The better the device the more pro you become
I use 4 finger claw on my phone, and I'll say I win so many more gun fights that I'd lose if I was only using thumbs or even 3 fingers. 4 Is definitely the best to get started with in my opinion.
I actually almost reached legendary back in 2020 using just thumbs, you just need to be insanely quick, but its possible to be good with just thumbs
Also there's a spanish yotuber named typhoon that played with 2 fingers since the beginning of CODm and also he has been legendary since that season
Damn. I literally use my left thumb for movements and my right thumb for camera and shooting and etc
Bobby is not harmed in this video 😄😄
I learned how to play with 4 fingers but I haven’t made it to legendary ranked yet. Been playing since winter of 2019 on and off
Straight to the game I use the 4 finger hud I'm not new to the 4 finger games I've been using 4 finger claw hud in every shooter game I have and the game is a blast by having 4 finger in your screen
Hey, it may not sound like much to y’all, but I have a 2.23 k/d using 2 fingers so I’m good. I’m sticking to what feels comfortable for me.
The hardness 😢and toughness
I use three 1 thumb for moving 1 thumb for jumping sliding crouching aiming and stuff like that and my pointy finger for shooting
_Honestly I already got used to 2 thumbs, and no one is gonna force me to use 3 or 4 whether that makes me "pro" or not, I'm good at the game this way and that's how it's going to be, as for the disadvantages... I can manage to counter them :)_
Lmao sure
What recorder you was using on yo phone??
you can always do time your shot so you predict your enemy position
I played the same way with 3rd thinger hipfire + ads Button, though after a while I've had a feeling that Id like to switch it up, it feels better with 4 fingers if u get used to it.
But of course it is possible ppl just trashtalk on things they dont understand lol
Question in codm is it possible to brighten display?,&yes I've adjusted settings on my tablet as best I can.
Thks
i play 4 finger but i still watch this video
