I worked in child protection in Australia and I interview children and young people who were victims of sexual abuse and this is in no way the appropriate way to interview and question individuals involved. this is so disgusting to hear and to watch. Absolutely horrendous way of handling matters like this.

not a single acknowledgement of how traumatic this is especially for someone who has been subjected to sexual abuse and here comes the senator so arrogant with no empathy on how difficult this guy is subjecting himself into not just to re-live the traumatic experience but for the whole world to actually scrutinize him and on top of that to be treated by this stupid senator this way.

The recent questioning of a victim by JE was particularly harsh and insensitive, causing further distress to the victim on national television. This lack of empathy and understanding is appalling. Why is a senate hearing needed for this case? It doesn’t seem right. Did the people involved in the case agree to have this televised? Why is this not done in a court room? I don’t understand the need for this hearing.

Jinggoy doesn’t deserve to be called Senator, didn’t show any compassion, it’s so heartbreaking to watch his line of questioning and his tone of voice, threatening, very rude, harsh, and impatient. Hope and pray Sandro gets the justice he deserves and may he recovers from this incident.
Yeah I agree that Sen. Jinggoy is not handling this sensitive matter in his line of questioning. Suggestion lang po na ibigay nyo na lang sa tamang forum ang ganyang bagay like Department of Justice dahil sila ang tamang dapat nag handle nyan. Wag nyo ng gamitin ang time nyo sa senate for such matter kc mas marami pa kayong dapat na pagtuunan ng pansin. Siguro kung simpleng tao lang yan hindi kau makikialam. Ipaubaya nyo na lang sa ibang ahensya ng government ang bagay na yan. Gumawa na lang po kau ng batas na magpapabuti sa kapakanan ng mas higit na marami.
