Nobody is pissed at what he said, there’s just a very few minority that are ultra-nationalistic, mostly Soviet-brainwashed elders. Moldovans are Romanian. They speak Romanian, have the same traditions, same food, same customs. We’ve been separated by outside forces but in a perfect world, we would be one country. The desire to unify with Romania has been increasing more and more especially in young people, and Moldova is finally preparing to meet EU criteria and join the union. Maybe this is finally the catalyst for our unification, we just need to sort out the Transnistria business.

Moldova recently changed its oficual kenguage from moldovan to romanian, they are the same prople who were raised by different parents
