He simply needs a secondary character for this matchup. It's a horrible matchup for chun. His Chun Li is amazing but to pull off that many perfect parries and still get blown away is a reminder this matchup may be to hard to overcome against players of this level.
9:51 commentary on leshar is spot on, leshar is hesitant or what? nuckledu is just... hitting and confirming. leshar did lose to caba's guile 2-0 at cc, thought it was a nerve hitting him, but after this i think leshar prolly has little experience going against guile in general with his chun, something he's gotta practice. i notice leshar doesn't really do od fireball and dr in and force du to play close range neutral, which leshar shine at the most in his plays so du just keep doing booms and leshar keep playing long game booms with du. sigh, had high hopes for leshar but it is what it is, i'm definitely not good enough to be on kumite so bleh.
Based on the comments all fighting games should be banned competitively..... Its always the same talk this one character is a bad match up for every character and this one character should be banned.. so fr just ban the whole fgc at this point.
I swear Guile must be banned from the game, a mediocre and boring to watch character that wins over superior players simply because he is a bad matchup for many characters. Nuckledu won against Leshar, who is a better player and could win the whole tournament, but then lost 5:0 to blanka, what a joke.

it's a well known counter matchup, all it is to it. Chun cannot get into fireball wars vs Guile, and has no consistent way around them.
