I can't really express how much the original has helped soothe me during the worst of my depressive days. I couldn't tell you what it is about this song - it's the feeling of that fuzzy dream-space between wakefulness and sleep; sitting in the back of your parents' car as a kid as you drive in the city during your annual trip, watching the interplay of lights and raindrops on the windows; of slipping between the cracks for a moment, finding yourself somewhere else in the universe, alone, in a bright and lifeless place, wrapped in stars and at peace. This song means a lot to me. Thanks for the remaster. 💛

this song was extremely important to me for many years and i've gone back to it so many times. the first time hearing this, i knew it was the same song, but it had such a different, refined sound that it was sort of like listening to the song for the first time again. the portion starting at 2:35 in particular has always captured a very specific sound and emotion i cherish. the bass drum comes through totally different in this version and i'm really enjoying that. this upload is sort of like seeing a friend you haven't seen in years and years, one you always looked back on your memories with them, and when you finally see them again they've changed in some sort of way. they're the same friend, they've just changed slightly... whether they're better or worse, it doesn't matter, they're still here with you. thank you for uploading this remaster!
