The saddest thing about the Little Caesar's employees is that they are considered so replaceable that the sign guys don't even exist anymore. They got replaced with sign waving robots that have mannequins stuck on top of them.

I was listening to this podcast today at work. I laughed so hard at this part, people were looking at me like I was crazy.
Little Caesar's now has a pizza machine. You pay in advance on an app or a website, then you walk in punch in a three digit code, and walk out with your order. Welcome to the nightmarish future of 2018.
As someone who wants to talk to as little people as possible throughout my day that pizza machine is a godsend.

Because of a local pizza joint where I live, all national pizza chains are like crap to me. We even have a Papa Johns and a Papa Murphys and while good stuff, can't compare to the local authentic Italian-style stuff we always eat.
I live in New York which has really good pizza. Yet I still have a craving for shitty pizza every once and awhile.
I used to work at every one of the pizza places they mention in this video. Lots of good times at those places. Old Chicago and Round Table in particular, although this shouldn't necessarily be considered endorsements. I will say, Old Chicago does have some damn good pizza, with the double crust ones in particular.
it's always weird to me when GB reference North Bay stuff that I grew up with like Mary's Pizza Shack. Jeff is right about them, btw.
In retrospect there was unwarranted angst over the Domino's pizza moving locations in downtown P-town
i love little caesars, and now you can order ahead with the app, pick it up and never even talk to a human.
Lucky me, I've got fancy-ass, shitty, and fancy-shit pizza all within 20 minutes of my house.
I don't have a problem with Little Ceaser's to be honest it's ok maybe it's my area but it's ok when I need pizza for a number of people right away like on the way home or something, boom there I go.
But there are a couple of local places that make the best pizza in my area.

@thepunishert I have the worst case scenario: all the big chain pizza restaurants have been removed and only Little Ceasar's exists (even the Ci Ci's is constantly closed for reason). There's also a extreme lack in "ma and pa" joints that are any good.

I miss Little Caesars, but i ate it during my childhood so...i doubt i ever want to touch it again. Dont want to ruin my fond memories with the realization that its shitty pizza.
A lot of people have the wrong idea of what Chicago-style deep dish pizza is an it kills me. But I can understand why, If you put "deep dish pizza" into Google images it's a horror show of amateur monstrosities.

Where I'm from Dominos is pretty good pizza. Don't know if that speaks more to the quality of Dominos or to the 'quality' of all it's competitors.
@thepunishert Either that, or wait and see whether Ci Ci's opens up again. It may be buffet pizza, but at least it tastes like someone actually spent time cooking it. Then again, I haven't been there for a year.

@WyldAli same here, i have like at least 3 good local ma and pa pizza joints with in like 15 minutes from where i live, although i will say that Papa Johns is probably the best shitty Pizza out of the three big chains (Pizza Hut, Domino's, Papa Johns)
