I also happen to have come in possession of the fastest I486 DX4 100 motherboard, with the CPU, and it's 25 years old.
It still has its original HDD and Windows 95 installed, the only downside was the barrel battery but fortunately that didn't damage anything by the time i got it removed and cleaned.
The motherboard i got has full support of DX tech and also the rare AMD 5x86 that could make it reach 150 mhz in speed.
Once i replace the onboard battery with a CR 2032 and find a PS\2 mouse connector (during booting it shows "PS\2 mouse not installed" it was most likely an OEM thing that was supposed to be connected to COM as there is no dedicated PS\2 mouse connector nor PS\2 pins to solder connector on) i am good to go and i can install my games from my childhood and some more amazing retro games like DOOM.

      @@SUCRA Thanks to you too.
      I got myself recently a nice 486 DX4 100 board that has ISA-VESA setup.
The board fortunately was one of those rare with CR 2032 already installed so it's still 100% perfect, just used some canned air and got shiny as the first day it was made.
I installed a 5.25" floppy drive alongside its "younger brother" 3.5".
It also had windows 95 Plus! and works perfect.
Along with that machine, i got a Pentium 133 to restore (the case was rusty but had really nice PCI cards and a near intact 5.25 floppy drive) and another pentium MMX 200 machine with PS\2 mouse.
