this is gonna be my best star wars multiplayer experience i didn’t get to play the old battlefront and the Dice version hate it so for me this is the star wars multiplayer experiences i always wanted in a pvp game
It's definitely changed my opinion on mobile gaming for sure. I'm enjoying the game so much, I actually want to support the devs and as such have bought an arena pass for this current opening season. I agree, so much potential for new Hunters and if they support this game for years to come. This game has basically killed all motivation to continue to play SWBF2. After almost 800 hours, it has been Uninstalled. Wish List items for me: 1. Sentinel needs a slight nerf. I am thinking drop his shield from damage mitigation of melee attacks but keep the same for blasters. This will make J3, Rieve, and Grozz hard counter him. 2. Skora needs a damage nerf, but keep healing the same. 3. More fun Hunters. 4. PC launch + Next Gen Consoles 5. Clans/Guilds 6. Browsing Content while Match Making Queued 7. More fun maps/modes slowly trickling out over time. I think all of the above are very reasonable requests/proposals and would really push this game to the next level. Dare I say... into the esports realm? What do you think Sammy?
As long as the devs are dedicated to support the game past its 'casual' sense of being mobile as its motto of convenient>competetive, i think if the game focuses on conpetetive, zynga can make it happen. They have enough money than a lot of other video game companies who have to make staff cuts. What we need is some promising note of the devs that they are planning on bringing SO much more. Game just came out globally but i hear it has been around the same for the last couple of years from soft launch. We need a roadmap Asap!
Loved the video Sammy! I’ve been subbed since 5K subscribers, and have seen the Hunters videos pop up in my feed, as well as the ads for the game on Instagram. I wasn’t excited for the game but had to try it after some prodding. I’m so glad I did! The game is super fun! I know it’s ironic… but I love that this is a mobile game, and this is coming from someone who initially dismissed the game since it wasn’t coming to typical consoles. It’s very polished for a game I can play on the go without getting the tv all set up. I’ve been playing it during lunch breaks at work and other random filler time and it’s such a fun experience to have anywhere I am. I’m totally gonna play this while waiting at the airport for my upcoming summer trip. Thanks for all the fun hunters videos!
I enjoy so much the game on switch and it feels like a console experience to me. I’m eager to see future updates. By the way, great content about the game too ! I like following it.
Is that rieve skin in the thumbnail actually in the game? If it is thats so cool the helmet looks like a slightly customized version of star killer’s from the force unleashed console game
My list for some new hunters A Nightsister, with similar abilities like Merrin or any other nightsister magic A tusken raider, tho I think it will be to similar to Diago A geonosian, this will be a funny skin to use Let me know if any other ideas y’all have
A Yoda race might just be TOO pandering to the whole baby Yoda thing. While i dont mind it, i guess we can take it can be a strictly force support user.
if they do bring it to console i don’t think it will be a good idea to do cross-play with with mobile… switch is fine cuz tbh i play the game when im on my bed or not home. but it will be unfair for mobile gamers playing vs console
If diago was a tusken Raider i would lose it (in a good way) Hes already my main, but his design and skins and stuff arent really my favorite so i just like him for his playstyle. If they add a tusken that has a gafee stick and long range rifle like diagos i will be maining it. Or ig they could add a tusken skin for diago, i'd buy that for sure
Glad to see everyone is enjoying the game! I remember when it was first announced during a nintendo direct and you where streaming at the same time, so I came in and told everyone. It's funny how everyone thought I was bullshitting at first, then it went to "Oh, it's just a mobile game, it will be mid." But here we are now proving all those people wrong.
Super hot take. I hated battlefronts and never enjoyed the idea of hero units that dictate how objective control played out. I much prefer this lowkey 4 on 4 where everyone is on somewhat even footing. The feel of star wars is there and there are charming characters but no overwhelming unstoppable force blows through your team with little to no counterplay. I understand the balance isn't perfect but it's manageable in a majority of matches I play.
Its funny because, while the game was in soft launch for two years, it sounds like they know what theyre doing in terms of not making broken characters. I think most of the characters really depend on a teams synergy tmrsther than a soecific character in your team. Its all about how to work together, which is everything we need in a 4vr
I adored the battlefront games but I can totally get on board with this opinion. I think one thing that makes Hunters feel balanced is that you respawn so quickly and so close to the action. Even if someone shreds you with their ultimate and you die immediately, it is not as punishing at Battlefront where you have to run halfway across the map to get back just to die again some matches. Your attention is locked the entire Hunters match because you’re almost always back in the action
Community is still small. Most people i have talked to about this game have never heard of it. Hope it catches on that its a fun free game. Also for it to really succeed i think it needs pc, and xbox/ps on board.
A Tusken and a Nightsister are definitely the best options imo

It’s a skin yeah, buts it’s currently not in rotation atm you do have to wait a few days for the shop to update
