- This hymn is one of the hymns sung in Coptic, Greek and Arabic. It has five parts (other than the very first Coptic part that is an intro) that are translated to both Greek and Arabic (the last part is slightly different between Coptic and Greek).
The hymn is sung in Whitsun and and apostles' fast tawzee after the psalm by the deacons and the people.

I was born Muslim and I consider myself Coptic, my grandmother used to take me to her friends and they would be playing this, it brings so many memories and I have a wish to learn Coptic and teach it to my children if I ever have.
