Garry's Mod Addon Review: [LFS] - Planes & Aircraft Showcase

- This is a great addon that adds fun airplanes and aircraft to Garry's Mod, like neurotech but still working!! Have fun and notes from creator and links below:
Every plane has a simple inbuild AI-system which can be enabled using the Edit-Properties menu. However make sure to use it on maps with large airspace only (close to max hammer grid size)
An AI-vehicle spammer is included (admin only) which can also be edited using the Edit-Properties menu.
Controls (Default)
OUTSIDE VEHICLE:
E = Enter Vehicle
ALT + E = Enter closest passenger seat | gunner seat
PLANE:
W = Increase Throttle // fly UP in VTOL-MODE
S = Decrease Throttle // fly DOWN in VTOL-MODE // fly DOWN in VTOL-MODE-HYBRID
A = Roll Left
D = Roll Right
R = Start Engine. Make sure you are aiming forward. There will be a signal-sound and red flashing line if your view isn't centered.
Space = Toggle Landing Gear + Flaps // Toggle S-Foils // Toggle vtol mode
Shift = Pitch Up // fly UP in VTOL-MODE-HYBRID
Left Mouse Button = Primary Attack
Right Mouse Button = Secondary Attack
ALT(Hold) + Move Mouse = Free Look
HELICOPTER:
W = Increase Throttle (Thrust Up)
S = Decrease Throttle (Thrust Down)
A = Roll Left
D = Roll Right
R = Start Engine. Make sure you are aiming forward. There will be a signal-sound and red flashing line if your view isn't centered.
Shift (Hold) = Hovermode

LFS planes controls are the easiest, i honestly only have LFS planes and hellicopters because other non LFS planes have hard controls and i cant ride them. So im glad we have something like LFS

Personally I find the LFS mod very easy to use! I tried out WAS and it’s good it’s just i’m wonky with the controls so i’ll just stick with LFS.

There's some says that Neurotech can Conflict with some of these Addons along with LFS and WAC.

I don't know if you're gonna respond to this but for some reason I cannot exit vehicles anymore. I go inside the vehicles with E but I cannot exit it any idea why?

Why can't I shoot rocker from few planes or drop bombs from planes when they have it
ive been ttrying to find a fix for a year but the star wars ships have a weird bug with the effects, when the rounds impact the explosion effects are super buggy and glitchy
i have a question...or a issue, i want my lfs plane to attack me, I set the team to be 2 (what I think is the opposite team to mine) but it only flies through the air and does not attack, normally before it would attack when it was on the ground, but now I have to spawn a plane that team 1 has to attack, could someone give me a solution? i have no clue why, and you probably wont answer this, but whenever i get into my plane, there's some sort of invisible barrier restricting my crosshair from turning on the plane. help?

i think to set it to the same team as the players vehicle (seen in properties), although the auto team is set by the vehicle, say a tie fighter would be on the same team as the tie bomber

You put the ai on so there's no seat if you put the ai
@@bob-es3dy nah I found it it's because some maps have problems with mods like simphyfs or lfs or scars, changing the map works

its usually space, though sometimes its shift if space doesnt work
Some planes in different add-ons use either space or g

Go to lfs addon in Gmod workshop download it then go into a map then press entity's then press lfs
I don’t know if it’s just me but my lfs planes won’t get damaged or explode, does anyone know why this happens?
check the god mode option on the context menu, there's an option for planes that enable the taking damage function

why i spawn a small plane i spawn and when i spawn a big plane i don't spawn
You need to be near ground or if it doesn't spawn it's probably broken
there really needs to be a way to set up multiple ships ai instead of one at a time.
Use ai vehicle spammer in the lfs base tab
theres a way to make the plane/helicopter etc have unlimited ammo ?
no it's kinda impossible unless you find a way
