Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a 2009 American science fiction action film based on Hasbro's Transformers toy line. The film is the second installment in the Transformers film series and the sequel to Transformers (2007). The film is directed by Michael Bay and written by Ehren Kruger, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman. Taking place two years after the previous film, the story revolves around Optimus Prime (voiced by Peter Cullen), leader of the Autobots, and Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf), who is caught once again in the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons, led by Megatron (voiced by Hugo Weaving). Sam begins having strange visions of Cybertronian symbols, and is being hunted by the Decepticons under the orders of an ancient Decepticon named the Fallen (voiced by Tony Todd), who seeks to get revenge on Earth by finding and activating a machine that would provide the Decepticons with an energon source, destroying the Sun and all life on Earth in the process.
The film was followed by four sequels: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Dark of the Moon (2011), Age of Extinction (2014), and The Last Knight (2017), as well as a spin-off titled Bumblebee (2018). A seventh installment, Rise of the Beasts, is scheduled to be released in 2023.

In a mid-credits scene, Noah manages to repair Mirage using junk Porsche parts from Reek, who learns that the car is a Transformer.

The autobots and NEST together on screen were the best parts of the movies. their dynamic is fun and badass at the same time/
This always how I thought Autobots and G.I. Joe would work together at their best. NEST, to me, was G.I. Joe in all but name.

@@dariusbrock2713 Oh, yes I've heard about it and I've seen a spoiler clip here(I've yet to watch the movie but I don't mind). No that begs the question: Is the Snake Eyes movie connected? Like, that movie was supposed to be a reboot of the G.I. Joe movie franchise in the same way Bumblebee was.

I wish G.I, Joe replaced NEST so we got to see some of the characters and villians. Like in a G.I. Joe movie the autobots could help them out and G.I. Joe could help the autobots in their movies

Frankly , I wish we got more of this in previous incarnations and more in future versions .Humans get really protective of the Autobots against the Decepticons and other Humans .
Everyone can enjoy a simple action movie. If Hasbro/Hollywood ever did something more methodical and character driven for Transformers, I'm sure we'd be able to see that.

What people are saying is the way he kills his enemies is either unnecessarily brutal or flat out wrong that goes against Prime's believes and blatantly makes him either a pyscho or hell even the fucking villain. Like that shit should be Megatron doing that shit, not optimus.
But no is fucking saying Optimus shouldn't kill. But sentinel prime and demolisher deaths literally goes against Prime's believes, his morals, etc. that being not harming a wounded or basically defenseless opponent.

The bonding between Autobots and the humans especially NEST, in bayverse was truly amazing. Though it had tons of destruction as compared.

Bruh bayverse prime is gentle with humans. However if a human is about to kill Prime's new human friend and is associated with a group that killed a lot of prime's friends, then yes Prime is in the right to kill that human to save his new friend.

Unpopular opinion that's totally safe here, tho: I like the idea of Optimus losing his cool.
It was never a sudden shift, but a change that started in ROTF. (Not to mention, combining with Jetfire probably gave him a touch of that old Decepticon rage.)
I mean it wasn't exactly without reason.
Not merely are the decepticons far worse than in G1, but the meddling government bodies pushed Prime into a corner.
I like to Imagine this is a version of Optimus that's been in the Autobot-Decepticon war for... ages. He's tired, he's angry, and most of all, he's fresh off several betrayals.
It's just all built up to him becoming the "borderline" psychotic dude we see ripping Decepticons to pieces (and seemingly enjoying it) in the flicks.
I mean TF4 shows the human villains giving Optimus ample reason to turn his back on humanity, Killing ratchet and really all the Autobots that risked it all FOR them.
and yet he still joins in the fight for humanity near the end.
So really, even though heavily flawed and nowhere near as patient as his G1 predecessor, Optimus "warcrimes" Prime of Bayverse continuity is still a hero, and a pretty good one, too.
