- A Star Wars film has not been released for a while, shows on Disney+ like Ashoka, Andor, Acolyte, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and MORE have littered the Star Wars franchise, with no new films other than a Mandalorian and Grogu film - will Star Wars ever make another movie?

The disney trilogy could have been so good with the idea of a stromtrooper becoming a jedi and teasing it in the trailer but then to throw it away with rey, another thing is rey being palpatines grandchild is there is no time to me when his kids where born due to the fact luke would be around the same age as them so would THE SITH LORD THAT IS KNOWN meet someone and have a child with. not even gonna start on how he survied. But about the amount of series is 2 main reasons, 1 being just failing in the box office like you said after 3 mid at best films, but they know they can with rougue one being an amazing example. but 2 being that it was when they first started disney plus and wanted some exclusive stuff to beef up the catalog and to be fair a good amount of the series is good with the end of clone wars, bad batch, the mandolorian, andor, tales of the jedi/sith and ashoka. but some stuff like the alcolyte kinda limits what they can make.
One idea they could have had was before the prequals about the darth plagus and how siddious got so powerful but shows like alcolyte limits it due to overlapping time periods. overall thae best way to fix it is to move away from big names and known characters that are overused like skywalker and actually get people on the projects who give a shit about it and people who knows the ins and outs of the whole lore like Sam Witwer cause I bet he could come up with some of the best ideas since he actually gives a shit
They threw away a lot of potential with each entry of the sequels, disregarding what came before or not developing its characters properly or at all in some cases; and I was only talking about the sequels when it comes to performance and mid at best films, the spin offs I feel really didn’t damage the brand as much as the sequels did.
@@JRSfilms yeah thats another problem with them is they try to make the old characters again. like with poe hes han solo, with out all the han solo charater, charm and demeinor.
