we gotta stop calling grown women girl bosses lol. it's used as a reductive term towards women in so many circles (especially combined with the gaslight, gatekeep) and was originated by women trying to identify with their gender despite leadership positions being male-coded, but it was done in a way that infantilized women. She is a badass in this not a girlboss.

I love Joe Keery and Maya Hawke’s relationship on screen. They just have the best relationship. This season was amazing to watch. I’m currently rewatching the show now.
Both of them seem to gel with EVERYONE. So their scenes together is something special.

These two actors really have great charisma together. So much fun to watch them. Reminds me of Harrison Ford and Karen Allen in _Raiders of the Lost Ark_ or Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in _The Mummy._

Just as how Nancy doesn't get enough credits for the independent, smart and powerful woman that she is, Natalia doesn't get enough credits for the amazing performance she has delivered every season. Nancy is a strong character who does not take bullshits from everyone and would always get the job done, plus she genuinely cares about the people around her and tries to make them feel better such as when she asked Dustin to dance at the Snow Ball or when she reassured Robin that she could do it. She is so much more than the love triangle the Duffers keep putting her in and does not deserve the hate she gets or all the "Nancy doesn't deserve Steve" bullshit. And Natalia is a talented actress who has consistently nailed her role, she isn't just one half of the cute couple with Charlie (who is very talented as well but does not get materials to act). I'm happy that people are recognizing Nancy and Natalia more in this season, hope season 5 brings us even more intense scene with Nancy and Jonathan, either individually or together.

People are either excited about Nancy getting back with Steve or upset about it because they think she doesn't deserve Steve. But no one appreciates what she's become as a woman. She's probably smarter than any of them, responsible, independent, emotionally strong and knows how to handle any situation and protect people that she loves and cares about. It's sad to see her not getting the praise she deserves.
yeah especially steve with the whole 6 kids things, i don't think that is part of her dream as Jonathan described. she wants to go out into the world and experience life as an autonomous adult whereas steve clearly likes caregiving.
@@herb_rolls3929 yes and it was all Steve anyway. He was the one who's not over her and talking about his feelings n all which is understandable but it was not necessary imo. The Duffers just wanted to complicate things. They could've just dealt with the distance like they did with Mileven. Distance should have been the focus here not Steve's feelings or Nancy being attracted to him again. I mean let her be an individual with dreams and ambition, don't just tie her up with this things already.
@@madhu_mita They had Steve say those things to make the audience think they were going to kill him off. They did the same with Max and Lucas and with Eddie and Dustin.
@@Lupin788 yeah ik but wasn't it obvious that Eddie is going to die!! I mean he had all the right reasons. To kill Steve they needed a good reason which wasn't there in S4. And i don't think they are ever gonna kill him. It just doesn't seem right.
@@herb_rolls3929 exactly, that's what I think about Nancy, she doesn't want to have 6 kids, her passion is her work and archieve something. But people still focus on their triangle relationship and if she deserve Steve or not.
the fact that they saw Siguorney Weaver in Natalie makes her even more of a badass, lets hope they cast her on the Alien series that Ridley is directing...

So funny to see people acting shocked at Nancy being so badass in this scene, when it's like 'Where have ya'll been? She's been like this since the end of season 1!'
I'm just so glad to see Nancy (and Natalia) finally getting the recognition that she deserves after this season.
I just really wish that the Duffers would just let her character be the badass Nancy that we know her to be and allow her to be her own person, and stop shoehorning in the whole unnecessary "Will she, won't she with Steve?" thing.

Natalia really deserves her flowers for that scene and I’m so glad she’s getting it. I would argue the most badass shot in the series and the way the Running Up That Hill remix is scoring the scene is actual perfection.

If I’m being honest the scene when everyone thinks they won and defeated vecna and then the clock starts to tick and Nancy’s like “ max” that whole scene gave me legit goose bumps and make my heart beat faster than a bullet. I mean I love that scene

Nancy's love for all of the kids is contagious and so clear. Just the way she says Max's name when the realization of whats happened hits gives me goosebumps. Natalia nails being a boss *ss b*tch one moment and a cool aunt who would die for her neices and nephews the next.
I love the recognition they give Natalia. She’s such a bad arse but doesn’t get praised enough.

I also want to note that when the ground starts shaking, Steve immediately grabs onto Nancy and Robin like he's trying to protect them. I love that choice Joe makes because its a small detail but it works so well with the character.
