I also test drove the new Mazda6 here in Europe with diesel engine and it is a hoot to drive. I went on local road full of twisties and it was really impressive. The car handled really really well. It was very nimble and very precise on the steering wheel so I was quite surprised by this big sedan. Mayor kudos to Mazda engineers - they made the car incredibly sporty, yet iz soaked up the road bumps with flying colours.
what a cool concept for a series. i recently took my mazdaspeed3 to the track for the first time - it was much more challenging than i had expected (but very fun). i hope at the end, you'll tell us which car you liked best, understanding that "fastest" isn't always "most fun."
It's also to allow you a way out of the car in case of a crash and protects you from getting more glass on you. That is what the instructors said when I went to a track day. They wouldn't let anyone race with the window up.
Roman Looks like you having a great time...Enjoy! keep the daily vids coming.. PS tell Nathan to get better so we all can be further entertained....also where is Andre?
Hey roman, how would you rate the 2014 fully loaded Mazda 6 in the family sedan with high fuel economy segment? I'm considering buying one. I like that they look cool, get good MPG, and drive sportier. Would you say there's a better selection based on those criteria that I should consider?
The 2014.5 Mazda6 has the Technology Package which now has a dedicated Sport Mode. Wonder if that would have helped any. But this is a great video of this sedan. Were the Camry or Accord included as well?
I noticed that the mirrors changed on the car lol. I guess you were in a different car when you did the conclusion. I owned a Mazda once and it was a great car.
Nice to see a different review other than a 0-60. Good work Roman.

Nathan's been sick the last two weeks but he'll be back later this week.
We're publishing a video per day. You'll have to wait as we count down the top 10.
We can't roll up the window. It had to stay open to signal other drivers to pass or to signal when pulling into the pits
The Viper set the record on the full track. We only got to run about half of the track.

Seriously ... I love the windsheild point of view !!!

It should be either Mazda6 or Honda Accord imo. The 6MT is unbeatable in its class. It's also your default option if you want a V6.
Sounds like fun, Roman! Where did you leave your sidekick, Nathan?
Unique testing for sure, but hopefully a larger foam filter can be fitted to mic to cut down audio breakup.
