There’s a ton of things I’ve picked up on since watching you Pry! Some of those things being: distance management, punish on all mistakes your opponent makes, invest in the body, reserve your stamina, be defensively sound, and be patient! However, it is fun to go crazy and have wars sometimes so I haven’t made Div 20 in a min😂
After 1500 matches of just Stand & Bang and I’m still afraid to play MMA cause I feel like the grappling has always been a cheese way to win and op IMO
One thing I saw you doing in first fight was slipping after throwing a hook to the body. This is something I always gotta remind myself to do.haha. Great video as always man.
Whenever I try to play more patient I feel like I always end up falling behind the other guy and get finished. Idk what it is but I'll try and counter what the other guy is doing but always end up just happening to get caught
Work on your distance control, head movement like slips and ducks are great. And understanding how the animations work will help dictate what your opponent’s about to do
You just make it look easy for real it's like I see what you and Goat be doing and I'll try but I ain't getting past level like 11 if I was just striking but I can get to level 15 16 if I grapple but I can never stay that high like I'll hit 16 few hours later I'm at 8 lol
If you have even half a decent ground game its so easy to get to div 10+ id even say its not till div 15 that people rely start having decent ground skills, and of course you'll run into the occasional guy that's better than you but legit even if ur not planning on grappling an early takedown and a little control will have so many people on tilt the rest of the match
i like to use knees & elbows to counter those inside fighters and those who back up to regain stamina, use your jab and body kicks to maintain distance
That flying knee could’ve meant be a high kick I do the same shit when I’m using him too, and sadly it ends damn near the same way😂*I’m a lower tier player*
I've gotten myself up to division 12 just by being more patient and using more body work,never got above division 6-7 before
