Thanks for documenting this, i have also tested my body for higher altitudes on this trail only, and i followed the same trail as yours without worrying about stream.
I also had vomit at ~5500m, with no breathing issues, no headache. I was very fresh at that time, but decided to not go further as i was hiking alone and thought what will i do if it becomes severe as i was not carrying any medication for it.
It was easy for me to decide not to go further as i was not there to climb Yunam, i was just trying to test my body on higher altitudes.
And moreover, i had a very good sleep in Bharatpur Tent Colony before hiking and not at all feeling that altitude, but the night after my hike in Bharatpur Tent Colony was very uncomfortable, i vomitted two more times at night, and next morning i just headed towards manali, and started feeling much better after Darcha. And till Manali i was completely fine and feeling great.
Thanks Manav, for helping future trekkers.
PS : I have met Pratap on Rani Sui trail, so it was great to see him in the video also.
It was an intelligent call bro. We should always listen to our body. I wish you get to go to Mount Yunam soon and reach the summit full of energy. :) Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. It will definitely help fellow trekkers NOT to take unnecessary risk. :)
It's all in ur mind.....forget that ur in high altitude
@@stewartgabriel5483 Grow up
I had put a pebble there at the summit with "Minky" written on it and a heart. I saw that it's still there ! Thanks a ton for uploading this video it brought back many good memories. Minky was my beloved pet kitten. I love her the most. I was happy to see the pebble still protected 😊 I had taken the pebble from Jispa.
:)
Manav bhai keep going 🔥
Thank you Shadab 🙂🙏
Hii Manav, does the trails are visible because I am planning to go solo? I have done Hampta pass and Roopkund trek in recent years. Is it possible to go solo there?
Going solo depends on your prior hiking experience. Trail is visible but basically it is an open ground of scree and loose rocks.
@@Creedaz Ok, Thanks
Hi bro i am Sanjay's Friend.
Hi
@@Creedaz hi bro you know Sanjay?
I don't know which Sanjay are you referring to

Fantastic video guys. No unnecessary loud, cringe music, no unwanted chit chats and selfie shots. Only sounds of nature and interesting infos. Awesome stuff and congratulations!
Thank you Hrishikesh 🙂🙏
Can u video on ur 30l backpack 🎒 quechua
Need to spend more time with the backpack to make a review video.
Cool vedio. First time I saw a soothening voice and simple vedio with required content. Great man your energy levels amazing. I am 52 years man. I tried stokangri twice but after 19500+ feet I felt too difficult and back from there. but no symptoms of high altitude
sickness. What May be the reason. Fitness levels are ok. I can run 10k with in an hour
just goes to show... the level of fitness and awareness required to attempt high altitude hikes... good luck.. and stay safe
Thank you Brinda 🙂
in 1 day.
Crazy climbing..u guys be careful
Safety is the utmost priority
Well documented..hoping to do a trek with you one day!
Definitely. I also wish to see you in the outdoors someday
Manav bhai apki videos dekh kae maan krta hai ki bag utha kae bhaag jau pahado pai 😍😍
Niklo bhai
Hey Manav is it possible for you to share the GPX file of this trail?
Just download any offline navigation application. All these trails are there on the apps (Maps.me / Mapy.cz / OsmAnd).
No need for a gpx file.
@@Creedaz Thanks alot!
nice video, I just climbed a mountain of 5424m (Cerro El Plomo) here in Chile and now i know what it feels to be in the altitud, greetings
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Hi manav, your videos have less bullshit. Kudos for your work man.
Don't you guys take diamox while attempting high altitude treks? Just curious.
I have NEVER consumed diamox.
sir i have to have to say that you are also a Aalo Paratha brand Ambassador, Jokes part and again a very amazing trek. very informative and helpful
Haha .. Aloo paranthas are the best.
Thank you very much
Another great glimpse of the Himalayas. Thanks Manav.
You're welcome Aviral 🙂
Hey, Manav. Want your opinion. I feel trekking without poles is more beneficial compared to using it. As I have bare hands to support me. I have trekked widout poles till now. But people are advising me on using one. What do i do?
Poles are useful for long hikes. It helps conserve energy. But it is a personal choice. Few people like them, few don't
Hey Debdip, hiking poles usually helps more in descending by reducing the pressure on knees.
For knee's safety we should use that, but i'm also on the boat, i also feel very much comfortable without poles. 😅
Hi bro I am from Tamilnadu . How many days need for this trek
Depends on fitness levels and acclimatization. With properly acclimatized body and good fitness levels it can be done in a day as shown in the video.
@@Creedaz thank u bro
How many hour you to take Manali to yunam base camp bro. When is the right time to visit yunam peak bro
Wow ...you are amazing Prathap...
Indeed
I'm your new subscriber bro..😊 just amazing it is.. I met Pratap today (he's my relative) and he shared his experience being with during this hike and that was really amazing.. see you soon in north along with Pratap.. keep rocking 😎

So beautifully captured. And that’s my friend Briju whom you met while descending 😃

You are a big motivation for me to get back to a fit lifestyle.
Thank you Bhargava 🙂
I did this in 2021! Awesome peak !
Indeed
Can we do this in December from upper zing zing bar route
No
How to reach Bharatpur tent from Manali in public transport ..??
Bus that goes to Leh
Hope to catch you up soon in high altitude Manav !
Sure bhai
You should put a disclaimer that “don’t try to imitate”. I mean who does speed hiking for a 6000m. Noone will surprised if you upload a video of Mt everest speed hike.
Till now i have heard “Expedition” for 5000m plus height not something Like “speedhike”.
Huge respect for you. And absolute thanks for your superb videos.
Thank you very much.
These hikes are actually good to do in a day after proper acclimatization and good fitness level.
Thanks manav for showing different world. We from south india admire these places a lot cause we don't have easy access to them.
It is like we are hiking along with you.
Will you please mention the itnary and route map for this trek?🙂
Thank you Chaitanya.
You can find hundreds of itineraries if you google
Hey that's a very informative vlog.
So i am planning to make a ski descent on 26-27 june this month.
Will it be possible ?
I mean the snow conditions!
Should be possible. There is good amount of snow on the top
Manav - just one question. When your buddy was feeling sick right from the start of the trek in those treacherous regions how do you differentiate between AMS and an upset tummy. Cause for me it definitely looked like initial signs of AMS and it would be always advisable to hike down asap in that case. In your experience whats the best way to take this call ?
I shared the same with Prathap on the slope. I told him that in my opinion you should go down from 5100 meter itself but if you feel okay you can continue.
He had symptoms due to bad stomach. He felt quite better after vomiting. He did get some symptoms of mild-AMS but since we were fast we were able to hike up quickly and come back down.
@@Creedaz Glad to know man. In recent past I have come across some very experienced people losing their life due to AMS cause they couldn't get help at right time. Thats why anytime I see someone pushing themselves, I feel that these places are definitely not a place to test waters.
I am super glad you guys came down safe & I am 100% sure that you are experienced enough to take that call. Cheers man ! You make very nice videos & I enjoy them thoroughly :)
I completely agree with what you have shared. It is crucial to know when to push and when NOT to push our body.
Glad that you liked the content man. Thanks 🙂
Manav your commant over the language. Is the attraction... Apart from the scinic view you deliver ... Also some unique destinations to look for... Gr8 share man ... Just amazing bro
Thank you bhai 🙂
Which time is best time for this trekking
September
Have u suggest any guide so i can also want climb my yuman
I don't know any guide. Sorry
Thank you so much for sharing this video...I have one question is any permit required ?
I am not aware about it
What are the ideal months to attempt Yunam Peak.. I am planning on attempting Yunam in the last week of May.. Is it the right time to visit or should I postpone my plans to next month.?
August is ideal
Hello bro, how can we know which peaks needs permits to summit and which don't, do we need permit to summit Mt Yunam?
I have no idea. Permit is required if the peak climbing certificate matters to you.
We are planning to hike it 9n 1st October 2021. Would there is need of ice axe at that time.
Not required
Hello sir I m going to climb yunam peak in September...any tips and advice for me
Check weather
Acclimatize well
Sweet views! Looks like a really long hard hike but rewarding
It was indeed a beautiful hike
@@Creedaz 🙂
bro what was the total cost of this expedition
We did it in a day so the expenditure was below Rs 1000/-
Good video, Lots of information, I m planning for Yunam in mid October with one of my friend. Do we need any permission from local authorities or from IMF
No permission required.
I would suggest you to do it within September. There will be chances of snowfall in October and it will be very cold.
aalu paratha is my favourite snack in hiking now
Glad to know this. 😊
I dont know what else this man needs to do more. Absolute beautiful, polished communication and raw content. Wish this channel grows to lakhs and millions of subscribers! Thanks Manav!
He needed to first address the stomach problems and then attempt the peak. Further, a little more acclimatization could have definitely helped.
Thanks Abhineet 🙂🙏
@@Creedaz hahaa I didn’t mean this for your friend. I was saying about you! That you are such a hardworking content creator!
Oh .. sorry 😂😂
Thanks man.
Firstly beautifully documented 🤩. I always appreciate how you state the importance of acclimatization in your videos 😀. Keep sharing your experience and knowledge. 😀🙌
Acclimatization should not be ignored no matter how fit we are.
@@Creedaz Absolutely... One of the most important aspect of hiking or climbing. People need to be more aware about it.
Yes 🙂
is this trail need any mountaineering technicals or can be done just like other simple treks ?
It is NOT a simple trek. Make sure that you acclimatize well and choose a clear weather window.
Hey Manav, i am planning to attempt mt. yunam solo, I've been trekking in the Himalayas for the last five years. I just wanted to know that is the route marked well or can we get a guide from Bharatpur tent colony
Use offline navigation application OsmAnd for route
Thank you brother 🤗

Excllent one, I am seeing you on Mt. Everest soon :)
No such plans but thank you bhai 🫂🙂
Dear manav pls concern me
For my coming yunum expedition
5200mtr or besides water source are available for making advance basecamp ?
It depends in which month you want to go.
If there is enough snow then no need to worry about water. There is a water source at the Advance Base Camp. It is mapped and is visible on all offline navigation applications.
Feel free to reach out if you have any other queries.
@@Creedaz I will plan for end of July or first week of August
@@Padatik-2023 There will be good amount of snow at that time so no need to worry about drinking water.
Manav bro,you never fail to impress, can't wait to see you conquer all the 14 ( above 8000) peaks and I know that's already in your bucket list. God Bless you.
5 of the 14 8000ers are in PoK so it will be impossible. Further, no such targets or goals. I enjoy the outdoors which are wild and free more than going to a place where everyone goes for a title.
@@Creedaz does Pak not allow Indians only ? Because other nationals have climbed it .
Please clarify manav bhaiya 🙏🏽
Indians are obviously not allowed. It is a sensitive area for Indian nationals.
@@Creedaz that's sad
Sports & arts ought never to have any boundaries. 🙏🏽
True. But then we have lakhs of mountains within our reach to climb. I have zero obsession with altitude
Awesome work again bro, keep them coming.
1 request (from a couch mountaineer, google earth ;) ) if possible, include zoomed in shots from summits or anyother place which shows peaks & distant summits, so i have an assignment of discovering them later on Google earth, and also please post them on IG. Lol
Keep up the good work!
Sure Madhav bro. Will add more info on peaks in upcoming videos.

You're welcome 🙂
Please tell me your cardio routine. AND, a few tips/advices to keep one's knees in top notch condition for long treks.
I run/walk/hike for 200 km every month with 15,000 meter of elevation gain. I eat healthy and rest and recover whenever I get any injury.
You can find knew strengthening video routines on RUclips. You can follow as per your level. 🙂
@@Creedaz daaaaaaayum. Okay. Do you eat sweets often? 🙃

Awesome videos, the only trekker I think I need to follow, just a ask: since you do speed hike please let us know about the places to put camps or possibilities to a do it yourself trek. Also, please make a video for hiking gear recommended by you
I always add campsites to the open source offline Navigation application called Open Street Maps. You can find out on Google play store and Apple store by the name OsmAnd.
And yes, I will make a video on the topic of Hiking gear recommendation.
This was breathtaking . Thank you man for the vlog. This really has inspired me to plan my first trek. I will start with the 2000-3000 m range treks and then slowly take it on from there.
Thank you Shashwat 🙏❣️

Hello Manav 🙏
Hello ji
@@Creedaz 🙏
Man you are just incredible. Just love the way you Speed hike at such staggering altitudes. I would suggest you try out some incredible trails and treks in lesser known valleys in Kullu district like Lug valley, Garsa valley, Sainj valley, Tirthan valley, Banjar valley, Fojal valley, Upper Kullu etc. There are some incredible crossover treks and hikes to mountain tops which of course are not yet documented and only locals know about them.
Definitely Swapnil. Will document all these valleys in future.
