I have 6" arms with 1960kv 6045HQ but would like to use 5050bn triblade but not sure is this is a good fit on 1960kv...

I've flown this motor with DAL6045 props. They are too big for this motor. I got 10 minutes flight times compared to 6 minutes with 5045s.

I have dal 6045 also and at the moment I have dal 6045bn installed... what do you mean with to big? To big for flight controle?

I assume you're flying on 4S as well. What happens is, when you throttle up, at some point over 50% you can't hear rpm inceasing, motor is pulling more and more current but not producing more thrust. If you fly at 1/2 throttle then no problems, you will get better efficiency and longer flight times. Running at 100% coverts energy to heat, not speed ;)

is this a good fit? As I only see online people using 2300kv in 5"props?

+Pocket Coaching This is 1960kv motor! But 5" two blade prop is better, in terms of efficiency. The point of this video is to give a point of reference.
