- Summer. July 2018. Pre pandemic.
We set out to visit seven baseball stadiums in seven consecutive days. We looked it up and planned it out and went for it.
Wife Suzy and I started it out in San Diego o July 27th.
Cousin Andy (rad ballhawk) joined us in Anaheim the next day.
Andy & I went on to San Francisco, Oakland, and Seattle.
The next day was back home at Dodgers stadium with Andy, Suzy and her mom.
Then Andy and I off to Arizona to finish it out!
We snagged balls at every stadium except San Fran where we attended a day game with no batting practice. And we had George the 75-year-old ballboy thwarting us as well. When we asked him to help us get a ball he said, "not here, not from me". Thanks George.
Autographs from Justin Turner and Mike Trout along the way!
Three different commemoratives: Oakland, LA, AZ.
Got the Oakland because Andy snagged an Umpire ball postgame!
In AZ: Scored a foul ball off Madison Bumgarner off the bat of Ketel Marte.
A third out tossed up by Paul Goldschmidt.
And a piece of wrapped bubblegum tossed up from the AZ dugout by Jon Jay.
Loved all the stadiums, even Oakland with its crazy proportions and vast expanse.
Cant beat the view from the top in San Francisco's stadium (whatever they call it these days).
Chase field in AZ has a lot going on, and a lot going for it...and there's a pool!
Petco is a gem with lots to see and do. Best food.
T-mobile/Safeco - with the train tracks = pretty cool!
But nothing beats batting practice at Dodger Stadium!
Thanks for watching! Have a great season everyone!
Daaaaaaaang. Now that’s a trip!
