11:42 I would turn off the radio before connecting it to the computer. It's something that I always do with my TYTs or my Yaesu FTM400XDR or any radio so, it won't "brick" the radio.

19:02... yep, if you needed help, alls you'd have to do is boot up your computer, run the software, try to remember where to add that message, type it out, fix the typos, connect your radio, figure out why it didn't upload to the radio, try it again, enable APRS and help is on it's way ! 9-1-1 is for pussies ! Ooof, at 32:29 I'm starting to feel for the guy... I'd done technical demonstrations in front of a live audience when something goes tits-up and you have no idea why (actually, I did... I was demonstrating some CAD software to a bunch of bigwigs, As it was here in the States, all my demo material was in feet and inches... the IT guys only installed the METRIC version of the software, so nothing worked... it was at that time, I discovered an uncanny ability to talk about software for 30 mins without demonstrating ANY of it)...
Please call APRS what it is APRS there is no analog APRS because it is digital. If you do not understand check out Bob Burninga's who started APRS. Lets use the right terminology to allow all to know both are digital transmissions.
@BridgeCom Systems, Inc lol good one bridgecom. Love you guys and all you do. Most of us really appreciate all these videos. I know I have certainly learned a lot from you guys. Keep them coming! 👍🏼👍🏼
SOLUTION to the problem in the live stream: Check the "Position" box inside of the APRS menu. Show notes have been updated.

Any chance the 878 will ever be able to receive APRS? Seems a software update could do that.
Can you run APRS the same time while using analog FM and/or DMR
3 years later and this still hasn't been answered...lol sad.
APRS Report type is switched off on the receiving radio?

Lol. Reminded me of the time Bill Gates was showing off plug and play for Windows at one of the tech shows and he got a blue screen 😄
Did I miss it? Never loaded. KD2BKP
Did I miss it? n7zum

I know it ultimately wasn't the issue, but why couldn't they just take the other radio outside to let it get a GPS lock? Lol
