Now I have been playing a lot of different roblox war games like roblox blood and iron and roblox waterloo at home amongst others. Although blood and iron roblox and waterloo roblox games just don't even come close to roblox napoleonic wars... or like we're playing today the roblox grand battle of egypt campaign. Every now and again napoleonic wars roblox devs put together a new grand battles roblox event and this one was the roblox egypt grand battles event. I took command of my roblox army and took to the field of battle!

Scot, if you want to get nitty and gritty in close-quarters, here’s my advice. Fire in volleys. Each volley advance slightly. If you have the numbers you may even be able to get a fire and advance going. Here organise yourself into a column. The front rank fires, then goes to the back. Everyone moves forward. Then the next rank fires and goes to the back, and repeat. Once you close the distance, fire and advance or not, fire off one volley at the same time as the enemy. Fix bayonets and charge through the smoke, taking them completely by surprise. You charged further away, which meant the enemy had plenty of warning. Of course, whilst you do this you have to be wary of enemy charges and drills are very important for it to work properly. When you say fire at will, consider this - are you saying it because it benefits the situation, or because it’s easier for you? If you need to multitask you can give the order, but probably revert it as soon as possible.
@@carrott36 bro is working with straight depot half of the time, plus fire at will is still better then like half of the stuff you said. You would get absoltuley farmed with those tactics.
It was indeed an insane battle. I don't think anyone of us was expecting the player count to reach 4000.

This battle was awesome! It's crazy to think the size of Roblox servers as compared to what they used to be, it really is mental. Hopefully, I'll be able to make it in your line next time, haha. Anyways, awesome video!

Personally, the best commander I’ve seen (though I haven’t actually played) was in charge of I think the 60th. Fantastic skirmishing, use of cover, the individuality given by being such a small skirmishing group. They definitely helped an absolute ton in the battle they were fighting despite their small numbers, kept the building they were defending completely off-limits for the enemy and guarding the flank.
I was in this 8th grand battle in 25e Infantry regiment 4th corps the same corps as Vistule, I can tell that it took you very long to post this video because the 8th grand battle in Egypt was in February 18 or 19 as I remember, and btw just finding out man you have 99.8 thousand subscribers you just need 2000+ more to finally reach 100k Subcrubers, so I’d congratulate you of your success, keep it up Scott, I’m glad you picked 4th Corps, 112e, 25e, and Vistule 4th corps lead to victory!
Amazing video, how hard would you say it was to command all of these troops? I also love the narration of your strategies in this it was really cool👍
Believe me, if you have a lot of citoyens and conscrits its really hard to form a proper line. I dont blame them, I was green(litterly and still 🇮🇪) before and had to change on a dime on my commanders orders. See it as shepperting a flock of very suicidal sheeps you need to guard and to lead
It can be very difficult when they are new and don't know what to do.. we're still a noob line but we're getting better
I see scot uses fire at will mostly than firing together, i highly recommend to fire together with your line to reduce the enemy's morale, and also to have more chance on taking down more enemies
Meh depends... volly firing reduces your lines overall damage per second. Volley for the first shot is good but not all the time
@@PlasticScot The DPS difference doesn't really matter, if you can tank their morale, you'll have a much better chance of taking their flag. Killing them is not the way to win on tickets

Ahh yes, the egypt battle, I actually participated 2 grand battles of this map, 1 was asia which I put my allegiance to Tokugawa Bakufu (the japanese) as a Chosokabe Samurai while the 2nd was EU where I started swearing allegiance to the french 84e, 84e unfortunately had a rushed training and got annihilated by the Americans because of poor training but hey, they ranked the highest regiment rally in the grand battle
Spartandordor2 used to lead the vistule or another polish regiment, great commander but now im in his own nation as a chief of the battalion.
Gg wp, I was commanding a line in an overflow server and was fighting a line 7 men bigger then me at the start, then managed to back-cap them
Damn I was there as well. I was in the 21e french line infantry during that time. Sadly they kicked me out and I went over to 6e. Good times ultimately and it was an amazing battle

This is an amazing Game but I recommend Playing Waterloo at home it’s basically like this game but there’s more classes and you can construct your own Fort!

It's sad to say this battle wasn't as fun for me; I fought as the primary flag bearer for the Connecticut Guard, and originally we were supposed to fight with our fellow American regiments alongside Bonapartist Spain in a 6v6 or 8v8. Unfortunately, due to the unbelievably high iq of the coordinators, we were swapped with a mid regiment to the smallest and most irrelevant server of the entire battle, a 3v3 with two Austrian lines against two French lines and Wurzburg I believe. We still got some fun, but the battle didn't feel as "grand" as it did for everyone else and was more like a normal more or less 3v3. Not the best experience for the very first Grand Battle I ever fought (been in the genre two years, couldn't fight in the other Grand Battles due to a mix of not being able to and religious beliefs).
If you're wondering what happened to the other server we originally were gonna fight in, it got slapped, losing by 3k points; the line we swapped with got broken and capped within 3 minutes, and Premier Corps constantly had the upper hand, though the better USA regiments alongside Spain were able to cap several flags of their own.
Connecticut, despite being in the smallest server, did very well for the Grand Battle, scoring over 4k points, the first time ever in our nation's history, I'd say placing around the top 10 lines that performed in this battle. We never lost our flag once, I think we got broken once or a couple of times, and we made history for our nation. All in all, 7/10 could be more fun
Ahh shame man. It's a huge event that requires a ton of coordination so it's not surprising a few things fell through the cracks. Hope the next one goes better for you

I was in the 23rd welsh fusiliers, it was a hard fight and you got a good flag cap on us.
Just a fact: Britain and her empire,from 1815 to 1860, had spent over 20 million pounds (around 131 billion pounds today) to the west and east african squadrons of the royal navy to stop slave ships from being more slaves to other parts of the world. around 20000 sailors died in this crusade against slavery,, and around 1600 slave ships captured with 150000 slaves liberated by the British.
After 1922, Great Britain and her colonies finally destroyed slavery in the world (at least in great numbers) when they abolished slavery and the trade in Tanganyika. You can watch the videos of "Britains crusade against slavery" or "West african squadron" for more information
If naval warfare is possible in tabs, we might even recreate those scenarios lol

If I was a commander, and I charge I will mostly charge the 95% of my line, and 5% which is the flag man plus guard in case the flag man die. Of course behind, so that the others guy take over the flag

Bro I dunno if I even will... we were so badly outmatched that it was borderline criminal. That was our very first battle as a new regiment and it was literally the first battle some of my guys had ever played. The matchup was brutal. Made for terrible content.

Is line commanding super hard? I feel like I can't multitask with teamspeak and commanding rankers at the same time lol
It can be difficult, but if you can get the line you face into a 1v1 it's way easier, lead for the first time yesterday and decimated my match in a 1v1, also another thing that helps is good rankers, so a conscript line isn't good for a first time leader as it hinders them but nonetheless should be able to do it.
As an officer, yes. You have to multi task ensuring that you listen to teamspeak and coordinating with your team mates.
You have to look around the battlefield for any changes or advantages you can press.
Takes quite a bit of skill but you will eventually get the hang of it.

also another thing that could help is if you had worked more with your team, its important to listen to your field commander, stuff like "im charging" could be the difference between you getting samwiched or capping 2 flags.
