She said a lot of the same answers that he said, but they can't be reused. It's a hard round to play and most people can't do it. Really, her #1 answer was fine, #3 and #5 were really bad questions and most people couldn't come up with anything else with such little time, #2 and #4 were the only bad answers she gave and #2 wasn't that bad.

Really, she just needed 18 points. Doesn't need great answers, just good enough answers. For example, for the 2nd one I was thinking school or work would have gotten her some points even though they weren't high point totals. I thought it was weird how she copied his airport answer and that wasn't even #1 for that question. At that point, she was getting frustrated that her answers were getting buzzed and she started to panic. Since she said airport, stick to that line of thinking and just go with train or bus station. It felt like she was worried about slam dunking answers than just giving decent enough answers to win. For the 3rd one, you're right bee was probably #2, but my brain immediately went to fly and mosquito. Just say something that will get you a few points. I saw a vid where lady needed a low point total (24 points) for her family to win and she choked on the first 2 answers with 0 points each, but then she calmed herself down and gave a decent 3rd question answer (got her 12 points) and from there on her last two answers were really good and more than enough to win the game.

This is where the nerves really ended her. She got so nervous that she was about to lose the money she just threw out the first thing that came to her head. We have no idea why she said this, maybe something related to it happened recently and it was the first thing she thought of. Regardless, throwing up is much more associated with the mouth, and not the stomach.

At this point she just basically gave up. The nerves had swallowed her whole, and she was so stressed and so upset at how poorly she was doing she was unable to even think about the question at hand and so spit out the most recent word she had heard in some sort of context in a failed attempt to save the absolute disaster that was that round.

Overall conclusion: she duplicated 3 out of 4 times, was nervous beyond the ability to answer rationally, and was rushing through the questions without thinking. I believe she would’ve actually done much better if nobody had told her how many points her father had gotten, it seemed to have put so much weight on her to the point where she couldn’t handle it and ended up in this scenario. If the father had gotten let’s say like 120 points I also feel like she would’ve done much better bc weirdly there would be less pressure to get 80 points than there is to get 18. Not getting 80 it’s just unlucky, u tried ur best, and getting it means ur smart. Getting 18 however is easy, and not getting it means ur an idiot, and this type of pressure is some she could not handle. Unfortunate things had to happen this way, but sometimes u crumble under pressure and time constraints, happens to the best of us. They returned for the following day, so at least not all was lost.

Steve talked about this very episode on Seth Meyers and he said her sister called her a B after they lost. 🥺. He also said that it was so bad that they had to stop filming and clear the audience because the energy was just so sad. I have a sad update to this story, the same family appeared on the publisher house episode of family feud where the prize money was up to 30k per episode, a guaranteed 10k if they win the game and then an additional 20 if they won the prize money. The dad got 148 and the same Daugther again lost. I think they should stop sending her. Also the same sister in-law that Steve said called the girl in the video a B also play fast money and got a total of 9 points losing them the fast money again
She won the second time, she didn't lose twice. It was the +5 INT Glasses that saved her the second time around.
@@dethaddr no she lost again, yes they finally won the fast money for ONE game out of 8 but her total points out of ALL 5 questions was 26, that’s a complete joke. This family won the game 5 times and never won fast money. Then they came back for the publisher’s clearing house games they won three games which guaranteed them 30k but they only won fast money ONCE and each time the dad put up scores over 150. Other than the dad the family is filled with idiots

I felt so bad! But, it is hard when you match the person before on some answers and have to try again.
in all fairness, with 5 being number one with 31 points, four should've gotten at least 10. restaurant was also worth 10 points because when your date or meal is late, all you do is look at your watch. however, she destroyed the last question. there were only two obvious answers: love and debt. that answer was all she needed and she blew it.
But that's not how surveys work though.

you're forgetting that besides the first question she gave exactly the same answers as the guy before her. Its like a mental block to hear the buzzer every time you give an answer. She just wasn't able to handle it as well as people before her, but that hardly makes her stupid.
