you can play as Goro, Shang Tsung and Reptile, but sadly the hack was done for the worst version of the game: US. This removes a lot of combos possible in EU, but Shang Tsung is quite fun and weird to play as!
Reptile is really hard to play as he's basically one character at a time and the stance switching between them isn't very convenient... Goro is OP, hands down the best in the game, maybe a little hard to control but worth it.
I'm not sure i'll ever play mk1 again after this lol, unless we get a european version of the hack.

lol if you played other versions you would feel a little robbed by playing this versions/, but eh ill take what i can get, i had a lot of fun with this one
doesn't mean it still isn't the worst version lol, it's not bad but the Arcade is superior
Outside of the handheld ports this is the worst. Arcade is obviously the best by a mile but the Genesis version smokes the SNES version.

@ridergamer9986 Responsive controls, yes. I remember both my cousin and I getting MK on mortal monday. I had the SNES. He has a genesis. I was floored by how ugly the Sega version was. That’s before I heard how bad it sounded. It is a HUGE downgrade with those respects from the SNES game. It sounds like the best MK port out there is the one that few people know exists (PS2).

I'll pray a hack for the european version is done someday! It's much better, there are barely any combos in this.
Try out the Turbo Hack for USA SNES version. It has the blood patch fix and sped up gameplay. Its close to the European version as far as speed and combo ability in the corner. The European version is still a little better as far as doing corner juggles. The Turbo Hack is still pretty good allowing for almost all the same combos as the European version, plus it has the red blood patch fix. I got it from romhacking.net I'm pretty sure. Its working on SNES emulator on retroarch.
all the 4 hacks there don't seem to speed up gameplay, could you be very specific and tell me which one it is?
@@KusogeMan Yeah the Turbo Hack doesn't really speed up gameplay, it just makes it a little easier to do juggle combos in the corner and it adds the blood patch fix. I did a combo video of it a few days ago. From my testing, its still not as smooth as the European version, but it seemed noticeably better than the vanilla USA rom.
@@rebranded1248 i found the turbo hack rom, but it cant be patched with this hack on lunar IPS...
@@KusogeMan Yeah I don't think there is a way to combine both hacks into a single rom. At least I don't know of a way, sorry. I didn't realize you wanted to patch Champion Edition with another version like Turbo or European to create a new Rom hack.

It wouldn’t work when I try to do It on the snes9x Emulator. When I select the rom it suddenly froze at 150 frame.
i'm playin on LSNES, maybe try a different emulator?
