I'm really excited how the Characters will be in this game. Sonic doesn't seem like someone anymore who just makes useless/unfunny jokes and seems actually more serious.
The way he should be. Sonic is laid back and will throw a Crack here and there but he's done that with style and pizazz. This Is far more in line with that and I'm SO happy they did that you won't believe. Talk about about a sigh of relief. This was what would have broken the game for me. I couldn't stand another comedian Sonic game

I really loved Roger's old tone in previous games, I've only just discovered it right now and at the moment it's not entirely sitting well with me... It'll take some time for me to get used to Rogers new tone i can't wait for this game!

Man...all these cutscene reveals. I'm starting to worry that leaked plot from a few months back (the one which revealed Modern Sonic and friends have all always been just part of an evil simulation, and only Classic Sonic and friends are legitimately 'real') is true afterall. So far the dialogue and story scenes have fit that...hope it's not true and that something else is going on here.

If you're baffled and you don't see how they could fit, you aren't particularly smart at figuring out the possibilities when you connect the dots. But I'll explain it to you. Literally in this video the voice says "Mortal. You have done the impossible. You've managed to escape cyberspace through your own power". You know what cyberspace is right? Another term generally meant to mean "simulation". Something created with computer code. A part of computer code escaping into the real world and becoming mortal is something that one would also generally say was "impossible". In the cutscene were Sonic 'rescues' Amy, she's only partially there and it's like she's glitching out. There was the story trailer which shows Sonic's hand glitching out too. You know what causes glitches? Bad computer code. I.E. A simulation. Look, I hope that dumbass plot leak was fake as much as the next guy. I think it'd be a terrible idea. But if you can't see how what we've seen so far actually fits into it, you're in denial. What originally seemed dumb now scarily seems like an actual possibility. I just hope it's not the case. After Forces I have zero-faith in Sonic Team's ability to make a game with a good story. It would be consistent with how they've been recently.

Yeah it is, Ik it does sound wild as hell to hear him speak in this tone, with such a lower pitch, but I assure you it's still roger

Roger sounds a lot better and not nearly as annoying as it was when he was making it high pitched for the past decade, but at the same time, this kinda just highlights what I've always been saying: His voice doesn't fit Sonic. it's way too deep. I'm probably gonna be playing it in Japanese.
That being said, I do like the tone!

This is why this guy simply never worked as Sonic. Wasting 10+ years over cringe "comedy" and now the elephant in the room is showing : he sounds so damn old and bored. He doesn't even sound like his usual "HOOBA DOOBA BALDEE MCNOESHAIR LAWL" voice, he's just doing a half-hearted Chris Redfield rehearsal.

Beg to differ I feel liek Roger catches alot of shit for not being perfect but this is a more mature sonic gsme and sonic having a voice to fit the mysterious tone IMO is a good thing

Man...all these cutscene reveals. I'm starting to worry that leaked plot from a few months back (the one which revealed Modern Sonic and friends have all always been just part of an evil simulation, and only Classic Sonic and friends are legitimately 'real') is true afterall. So far the dialogue and story scenes have fit that...hope it's not true and that something else is going on here.
.......NONE of the cutscenes and dialogue shown have fit that random ass sounding fan plot at ALL. Like....I'm actually baffled anyone would remotely think that.
@@chrange9714 Then try turning the sound on and reading the subtitles. If you're baffled and you don't see how they could fit, you aren't particularly smart at figuring out the possibilities when you connect the dots. But I'll explain it to you.
Literally in this video the voice says "Mortal. You have done the impossible. You've managed to escape cyberspace through your own power". You know what cyberspace is right? Another term generally meant to mean "simulation". Something created with computer code. A part of computer code escaping into the real world and becoming mortal is something that one would also generally say was "impossible".
In the cutscene were Sonic 'rescues' Amy, she's only partially there and it's like she's glitching out. There was the story trailer which shows Sonic's hand glitching out too. You know what causes glitches? Bad computer code. I.E. A simulation.
Look, I hope that dumbass plot leak was fake as much as the next guy. I think it'd be a terrible idea. But if you can't see how what we've seen so far actually fits into it, you're in denial.
What originally seemed dumb now scarily seems like an actual possibility. I just hope it's not the case. After Forces I have zero-faith in Sonic Team's ability to make a game with a good story. It would be consistent with how they've been recently.
