When I was experiencing a full blown depression , I would listen to this song and for some strange reason it kept me going and I didn't wind up committing suicide in spite of the loneliness ,pain,and longing Adam Duritz conveyed in this beautiful song.
Really love this song. I love most Counting Crows tracks, but this, Anna Begins and Colourblind really have a 'depressing me about my life but in an amazingly beautiful way' depth to them that even many of Adam's other songs don't quite achieve.
This song is awe struckingly awesome. The fact I'm Elisabeth only adds to its amazing heart felt tenderness in his voice. It hits me on a deep level and counting crows can not ever put out a crappy ass song
I'm pretty sure they actually had two "hits", Mr. Jones and 'Round Here. Regardless, one of the most underappreciated bands around. I can't hear the opening guitar to this song without it hitting like a punch in the chest.
