I'm a big Sabaton fan and was there last night for the first time seeing them live, they are amazing! I grew up listening to Judas Priest and saw them several times in the 80s, which were some of the best shows I've ever seen, but in my opinion, Sabaton brought it better.

Maybe you are able to see one of Sabaton's shows in Europe! They are much better, because they have much more on stage. This time they have Hannes' Tank shipping/ flying (?) over the atlantic 😅 In Europe they tell the story of nearly every song with actors or an additional choir. If you have a chance to see Sabaton in Europe, take it!!!
And in Europe noone will sit in front of the Stage of a Band.... i was a little bit shocked, that most people are sitting 😂😂😂

Love Sabaton and welcome back Thobbe. Get over to Europe ASAP. Need another injection of Historical Metal Magic. One question I know JP the headline act but even so that audience looks dull. Seen more excitement at a funeral. Do they not know they are in the presence of metal greatness.

Priest can still fill up large arenas. I wish Sabaton could headline those places so they could bring their full production (same deal with Amon Amarth), but i don't see it happening.

Each city or region can be drastically different in America. It's an incredibly vast, diverse country. Wallingford only represents that region, obviously not the entire US. We saw this same show (Priest/Sabaton) in 2021 in Youngstown, Ohio, and Joakim actually thanked us for being good to them - unlike the show they'd played the night before, he said.
I have some front-row 4K video from that Sabaton show here: ruclips.net/video/xypg3zhpozs/видео.htmlsi=PvXkqIpMHocYu3P1

Thobbe is a very skilled guitarist, it is not because of him. They had more than 2 months to practice AND they wrote a new album with him. It's the fact that this setlist includes their "greatest hits" or so and they are only opening for Judas Priest. For a standalone show whenever that comes, the setlist will be different.

Thobbe is not a very good guitarist in comparison with Tommy. The solos lack power and personality and passion and he doesn't flirt with the crowd at all.
Saw a clip from one of the two first shows and he played a solo in the middle of the scene and when he was done he just turned around and walked away. He looked like Biden when doing that. Very akward. It's a big loss for Sabaton with Tommy leaving
