Does anyone sell something similar but it would go at the other end of the washing machine hose where its easy to get at. Cleaning the filter is easy but moving the washing machine in a tight area is a pain.
Man, that's a dandy water-hose tool. I have a Roper that has little two-piece, plastic strainers that are about 3/4" long. They fit snuggly into the inlet housings - one for each hose. Anyone know how to take those apart? Or what Roper/Whirlpool calls those?
normcoppo I took one off, or let’s say I tore it when cleaning it. I put the hose back on and the machine ran for another 7 years just fine! That washer lasted me like a total of 24 years.
The water valves in the washing machine are large enough that small particles coming into the machine from your water pipes are not likely to cause a problem. The particles will go right thru the inlet water valve and into the tub, then get drained along with the dirty water. I don't think the screens are needed in most cases.
Thank you for helping a single woman! You are so helpful!
thanks for not making this a 25 min video
Thanks you for sharing this simple and easy to follow guide.
Very clear and concise. An excellent tutorial.
What kind of pliers did you use to loosen the hose? Is there a term for those?
Hose pliers

Any hardware store. They're very common.
thanks, I was able to find an inline filter for easy cleaning.
Yeah I just bought some off of eBay. They are flat and they fit into the end of the hose that screws onto the end of the water supply
I got a Kenmore 110.26132410 replaced the clutch and stator because it was giving me a f7 05 code and i try to calibrate it and nothing same code
Thank you. Very helpful!
I can't find the screen anywhere on your site. Please help.

Are those screens really necessary?
