I’ve been down the Tom rabbit hole for about 8 months.. love & respect him so much, especially the more I learn about him. Learning Adam, just discovered Mesus (his verse is awesome). This song is 🔥 I get bored with artists sounding the same.. I never get that with Tom - he’s a mixed bag and kills it every time!

New sub for more Tom MacDonald, Adam Calhoun and Mesus! Love all 3. Independent artists are different then mainstream because they can and do say whatever they want to, no one can cancel them cuz they don't answer to anyone, they have substance in their music.
You should check out Tom MacDonald "God Mode" which will give you a 8 plus minute song that pretty much tells you a synapsis of Tom's story (or at least the part that got him to where he is today as an artist.) Tom MacDonald produces his own beats as well and produces his gf's music as well (Nova Rockafeller - stage name, she's not really a Rockafeller.) Tom's gf does all of his music videos, her own music videos, and their videos together. Tom's sister and brother in law live with them and work for him. He's as independent as it gets.
Tom also allows people to react to his stuff so if you get to monetization on your channel and you are still reacting to Tom you might get a copyright claim from his publishing but if you contact him he will remove it. He's a solid guy.

I can tell you are a critical thinker. I also wanted to unlock a new character Tom MacDonald the last guy on the track that you loved. If you want to hear some truth that is deep & unifying by him listen to (1) "The Machine" by Tom. And then to hear more about him on a personal level listen to (2) "God Mode" by Tom. It's basically an autobiography in music video form.He also goes off on haters while trying to inspire everyone to pursue their dreams.
All of these artists are completely independent. Tom makes his own beats, builds his sets, his girlfriend shoots his music videos and his family/friends help with distribution of his physical albums.

Tom has a girl named Nova Rockafeller, last name a stage name that when broke, took it as a joke, and she also is a dope rapper. Tom and Nova always have messages, are against msm and labels messages of rap, and she until recently did all the film and editing by herself. You say you like country, they recently released a vid under GFBF, GirlFriend Boy Friend, called WE AINT COWBOYS. TOM has a large catalog, is known for his political rap/social commentary, but is very diverse. DEAR RAPPERS was his first viral, and one of his most positive songs is FIGHTER. Love your commentary.

TOMS STORY:
Tom MacDonald is 100% independent! He’s had major record labels after him daily for at least 6 years and he turns them ALL down! After you listen to a few of his songs, especially the music industry and sad rappers, you’ll understand why. He writes all of his songs, makes his beats, and his girlfriend Nova Rockafeller shoots and edits all of his videos! That’s why dear rappers is so simplistic because they were just starting out really.
He dabbled in bands and had managers in the past, but that’s why he struggled so much and that’s why he wasn’t as successful as he should’ve been until he wrote dear rappers. That’s after he had cut everybody out and started doing things his way on his time with no middleman! He spent about nine months battling crippling depression. He contemplated suicide several nights and he was a severe alcoholic! After what seemed to be an eternity, he spiritually came out of that depression and quit everything cold turkey, not only alcohol but also marijuana and certain anxiety medication. Him and Nova could barely pay rent to keep a home after that but he stayed strong and ultimately wrote Dear Rappers which was his very first video to go viral, and the rest is history!
He shoots his videos wherever is convenient whether it’s in his own home, in his backyard, or in an alley! He will even go in grocery stores and randomly shoot a scene for a video lol. He personally signs albums ordered by his fans (for a short time with each new drop) and he also packages and ships the albums and all merchandise with close family and friends assistance hangovergang.com. He builds the sets for all of his videos! Also, he used to be a carpenter as well as a professional wrestler in Canada, he’s from Mission British Columbia. He spent some time in college but that just wasn’t where his life was going. He had some experiences with the illuminati, not sure for how long or what exactly the nature of that was, but I know that he left to follow Christianity!
The set for clown world was in his backyard l! He took number one on iTunes with “best rapper ever” beating Eminem’s entire new album at the time!! Recently he took number one from Cardi B on iTunes with clown world! He’s taken the spot from her to number one multiple times! He’s also taken number one on billboards top emerging new artist! He made number one recently on hip-hop Billboard charts and number two in all genres! He also charted on seven billboards with Nova Rockafeller and Brandon Hart which included 2 number ones with “No Good Bastard’s” and made it on 7 MORE billboards with “Church”! He also just got three number ones and several other charts on billboards with “snowflakes“, and 10 spots on billboards including 2 number ones with “Brainwashed“!! He also got 2 more number ones on billboards with Adam Calhoun “New World Order”!
He dropped something very different in his colab album “As Far as the Stars” with Nova and Brandon Hart! He dropped 2 albums 9/3/21 #UsAgainstTheWorld #NoGutsNoGlory. He usually drops a new album every year, but that was the first time he dropped two at once, and he said it almost made him quit! But literally with tears in his eyes, he made a video saying that he couldn’t leave us!
