That's the cool thing about releasing art into the world. You never know what the receiver is gonna get from it or do with it. It's the same with music. You create it from your own perspective and context, but the listeners will consume it from where they stand and adapt it through their own lens and stories, giving that music layers it didn't have before. Art is rad. Humans are rad. You are rad! Thanks for the kind comment ❤
Damn! That little guy on the artwork look like he got some beef with Groot!. Seriously tho. Amazing demo as always. Will be returning to enjoy this again sometime.
Can’t remember the last time I’ve been this early to comment, but I LOVE Stefan’s work with pedals and guitars! This pedal might need to be a stocking stuffer from the ol’ Claus this year… 😏
Thank you so much! No, I'm not currently in a band. But you're welcome to check out my old bands "Sky Architects, "Cloud Anthems" and "Don't Come Looking For Us". You can find them on RUclips and your favorite streaming services
At first I wasn't convinced, but than after some settings you made, than already. It reminds me a bit of the Moai Maea pedal...it costed me a day to get the sounds I like. This octave fuzz pedal is easy to adjust to get interesting sounds. I will try out this pedal and playing around with some adjustments and in combination with some other pedals. 😊
Well, if it reminds you of Moai Maea, then it's because it's based on the Shriek channel from Moai Maea, but it's of course been greatly improved. Better tracking and way more tonal flexibility via the 4 knob control layout, compared to the Shriek channel's single mix control. I'm happy you liked the sounds in the demo. Means a lot to me. And remember you can pre-order MANDRAKE over at my online store, if you're in the EU ❤
Your volume controls are the two mini pots labelled VOL and OCT+. That controls the loudness of your dry signal (VOL) and your octave fuzz signal (OCT+).
Sometimes I feel that you can create even more sound from a pedal than the manufacturer itself ever think of

Lovely demo as always Stefan, you always bring our pedals to life ❤
Always a treat getting to dive into your sonic universe. Thanks for giving me the chance ❤

Yeah, think Groot needs to start watching his back. Mandrake is coming for him! 😂 Happy you liked the demo. Means the world to me ❤
That synth sound at the end is absolutely haunting and epic. Awesome job!
Yeah, I’m really happy with how Mandrake responded to my VSS-30. Sounded like an ocean of singing saturated guitar swells to me 😊
Sounds like the song of the last scene of a horror movie in which only the main actor survive. 😁
Clean tones are being reintroduced to their habitats. Nature is healing. =,)
❤ 🌴 ❤
DAMN, That Squier baritone and this pedal are a match made in heaven.
Yup! Just a crushing combo 🌴🔥🤘
I remember playing this guitar at a local shop before they went absurd in price. It really is an excellent guitar
Great moments in this demo! I didn’t know up could doom so melodically. At 7 minutes when you do synth it is very nice
Thank you so much, man! Gosh! Really appreciate it 🙏
Stunning demo! You show all the pedal's potential. 💪💪💪
Thank you! Means a lot to me ❤

Thank you so much! Your sweet words go straight to heart ❤
The Blue Box has evolved, it seems. Bless you, Stefan. Inspiring work, as always.
Isn't the Blue Box an Octave Down Fuzz and not Octave Up? Happy you liked the demo. Really means a lot to me ❤
Dude do you have a band? I love the stuff you make

Thank you!! 🙏
You sold me on this one man lol.
Honored to hear that! It's a really great and versatile pedal
6:36 i need this. i needed this befor i knew that i needed this .
Go for it! It's just such a great octa-fuzz
@@thepedalzone i really love your Videos and your pedal reviews, but i've a question: can you recommend guitar amps for pedals a cheaper prize?
nice doom bro!
Thank you!!
Hot damn!!
Indeed! 🌴🔥🤘
Great, there goes my budget. All pedals should have a blend function.
What's the first guitar, the blue one with the bigsby? Looked nice
It’s a Baum Wingman
@@thepedalzone thank you :-)
How can i control the main volume? This pedal seems to loud on my pedalboard
