iT'S NOT A NEW STAGE...they filmed this in Colombia...same as in Germany, Mexico and Brasil's drag race. These three, now four, seasons were filmed in the same studio.

Tbh im rooting for literally ANYONE besides alyssa and kitty. We dont need another american/uk winner. The season hasnt even begun and i can already smell the favouritism, i mean cmon its not a coincidence that they casted a huge fan favourtie with 10+ years of fandom love and previous all stars knowledge.
The better production strategy is always to uplift another queen or franchise to the next level. Thats why I think Angeria should win AS9, and why they might wanna crown Kween here.

I'm obligated to be #TeamTessaTesticle - but damn - the cast is immaculate! Alyssa is incredible of course, Kween is huge, I love Pythia, Soa seems like a big hitter too! And Eva? My god, she is serving pure perfection.

girl, these girls are not Roxxxy, Jinks or Alaska, and yeah maybe she did not made it to the finale in either of her seasons but you cannot compare a season from the us to another country, us seasons are more competitive and we are talking about season 5 and all stars 2, the most iconic seasons ever so basically no, she doesn’t have competition.

That's correct the studio is in Bogotá, Colombia.
I'm really excited about this one! The only thing that I'm afraid of is that maybe is a tailor made season to crown Alyssa Edwards. It seems like favoritism can be a huge part of this, I really hope I'm wrong because there are lots of queens I love from other franchises. Athena, Gala, Vanity, Soa, Kween... all of them. are fantastic!!!

Excited for Alyssa, of course and also for Soa, Athena, Pythia, and Gala. Nehellenia was really good (and sweet) in her season so maybe her too... Yikes, I like a lot of them. Having worked in TV casting, in general, yes! The casting team scopes and selects the cast that can actually do and commit to attendance (especially this being an international cast, more docs are needed) I believe this was filmed in Brazil if i'm not mistaken as it was the easiest location that required less docs and visas, plus paramount+ having a studio there. Anyway.... the pool of cast collected is then passed on to Ru and narrowed down until it is solidified including alternates.
*Rooting for Alyssa and Eva but I'm a little sad there's no one from one of my fav franchise ESPANA. They have a lot of strong queens from there.*
That's because they sold the franchise to a different platform, so they would have to pay for the rights lol

i’ve seen all of the franchises and i’m rooting for EVERYONE. this cast is immaculate. i think Alyssa’s gonna take it but these girls are not gonna make it easy for her and we’re about to see some incredible drag 🥹💗

I’m gonna say I watch the spoilers I’m not gonna spill ANYTHING during the season but I remember the Nancy Drew’s on Reddit say this season is set up for Alyssa Edwards to win. Idk fully if that’ll be the case but I’m gonna say I’m SO EXCITED for this season!!! This is probably the most excited I’ve been for a season of drag race in a very long time!

Im excited and frustrated at the same time for multiple reasons lol. I wish they would stop inviting the same queens back over and over, give the girls that hasn't been on All stars yet a chance. Alyssa doesn't need the show, there's tons of girls that need the spotlight rn. I'm also frustrated that they're releasing so many shows each year, I feel like Drag Race is going to get old and fast because of how much they're pushing out content. All stars 9 isn't even over yet and they're already promoting something else.

though i do agree with you that i think more girls deserve a chance at all stars, that’s what i want to happen on regular all stars seasons. this is global where only ONE queen can represent the entire country. i think its smart to pick someone like Alyssa who’s an icon and represents american drag like no other. she’s also the only repeat queen on global, so there are 11 other queens that most people don’t even know because they don’t watch international. all stars 10 and up though i completely agree, stop bringing the same queens back and bring others on. i just feel like this specific instance is different.
You thinking about the girls that need the exposure ... But the producers are thinking of RATINGS and $$$$$ and putting Alyssa Edwards in any TV show means $$$$$ coins and ratings that no other Queen can Bring. TV is a business $$$ and not a charity.
