I'm tired of the locals complaining about money. I've been trying to find someone to maintain my yard year round and nobody wants to do it. I'm offering to pay them well so how hard up can they be?
@@catchnemo Thank you for all the insider-information about the azores that you provide! I am in the process of buying a house in Nordeste, but the paperwork is taking more than a year now 😩. How has your experience been, with Portugese burocracy?
About not having a driving license: don't bother with the Azores or most small islands for that matter. It really takes away from the experience of exploring the island, and relying on someone else - a stranger even - for transport is foolish. Plenty of other places in the world to explore where a car is not needed. Learn to drive and then visit Azores to make the most of it. I've spent 6 weeks on Sao Miguel and going back for another month next year.
I don’t think it’s impossible to explore the islands without having a driving licence, there are a lot of other options, but yes it is helpful to harvest a licence.
Thank you!! I am happy to visit the Azores in April not in the high season! I am looking forward to see 3 of those islands ❤
Hope you will have an amazing time and keep me updated on how the trip is going! Thanks for being here!

Hi! Thank you for sharing your experience!
I rented cars from Ilha Verde several times without any issues. I found them fair and relatively cheap.
thanks for your feedback! I dont have a personal experience with them, but the reviews seemed ok

Am I able to tell what the road signs mean if I speak English, especially in regards to the steep hill?
I don't think there should be any problem :)
This steep road in Nordeste, you metioned, was it road to Farol do Arnal? There are warnings to not go down.
That was exactly it. The road all the way down to the lighthouse and further
Yep dumb. I've seen tourists attempt it. The walk down is short. There's parking at the top.
@3:34, as a portuguese i ask you just a little???🤣😂
What is the Portuguese language course you are taking?
Hi, I am taking an online language course from a university in Lisbon!
I can't imagine a place more different from the Azores than lake Balaton 😂
I am showing her this comment 😂
Maybe this isnt a beach on the Azores? But i never found white sand beaches. Only black sand.
It's Vinha d´Areia! It is a black sand beach, I think it only seems white-ish because the lights on the camera are not set properly.
How long you living Soa Miguel
For the first time I came here in 2019
Hi I would like to see a video from Madeira
We try to put something together!
