Yeah I was gonna say the same thing, she definitely carried big time. Her and Teemo were the best players on that team. I am a good Soraka player and I could feel her frustration, that time she typed in chat "what was that card??? red??" 😂 Being an enchanter is so difficult because your team has to WANT to be carried, otherwise you're not exactly a DPS champ so solo carrying as Soraka isn't exactly easy in silver/gold. I can imagine it's worse in high elo if your team is getting demolished and they refuse to follow up on your Qs/silence/root, or count on your W and ult.... like what else is there to do but ff at that point? Even though she was ticked off at the Twisted Fate I can understand how she felt and she STILL played really well despite being upset. If the Wukong wasn't trying so hard to throw the game I'd applaud his plays too, but bro was 1 fight away from committing an act of violence... 💀
I think they would've lost the game, period, if it weren't for that Soraka. She did a really good job. Honestly that game gave me hope that I can play Soraka again in ranked, maybe not get so many afk teams this time lol. Brian should be so thankful for a good support, especially with how rare they are to find!
I love playing Soraka. In aram especially. I always save my E for when someone snowball someone on my team, so when they arrive they can't do crap because I silence them and my team then kills them, how I win most of my fights as her tbh. XD
It's genuinely crazy to see how much Brian has been improving.
I mean yea but tbf oce challenger is legit like diamond na. And this isn’t bias or just “your server is bad”. The rank 1 oce player (like 1.2klp chal) gets into lobbies with diamond 3 players. The lack of population makes it like that, though once you have enough there isn’t really a difference between na Korea and euw.

At the very top theres just not that much difference, i would absolutely bet that if brian went to euw or na he would reaxh the same rank

It’s because oce challenger isn’t nearly the same as any of the other major servers (oce has 1/10th the population of na/euw/korea actual numbers) oce rank 1 player gets in lobbies with diamond 3 players. Most oce masters+ wouldn’t get out of diamond on na. Na to Korea though isn’t really a difference it’s just play style and mindset change.

If she just hit the copy with W's she would have had the upper hand, right? Because when she kills the copy Pianta would have been low + slowed and Illaoi would have been way better in hp since she wouldn't have gotten dps'd as hard.
@@petrikillos Mmmh, not necessarily. Hitting just the spirit mid fight is good only when you have enough damage to finish it quickly so that the other tentacles would slam on the real body, but she was building tanky to survive the fed Teemo. She probably would have done even less damage because Pianta could have just hit her from a distance without having to run away. Also, building tanky means that even if you destroy the spirit, you don't transfer much damage, since the percentage scales with AD.
Illaoi is counter intuitive, because when you're losing lane you should build more damage than when you're winning. When you're winning you push the wave and siege the enemy under turret, so you need to be tankier to survive turret shots, but when you lose, you need the extra damage to clear waves and to have a better chance at turning a fight when you get dove or ganked.
So, yeah, in that case she didn't have much of a chance. She was still playing well enough to almost kill Teemo multiple times, but she got stomped early way too much.

also teemo pretty much counters her. he has the move speed, the blind counter her W, he has range as well. plus brian went ignite. sure illaoi was bad too but... thats what happens when 2 people fight each other. one wins, one loses (usually)
that swain saying report illaoi was so grief. they probably griefed her all game as well. like what u want her to do! she is trying her best. someone has to lose. just cos ur laner is losing doesn't mean u grief them, or try to report them.

The fact is that she's extremely strong when out of meta because people forget how her abilities work. They're more complex than most, and she's great at stomping who underestimates her. If someone knows that you have to dodge the E and run away when she ults, though.... Well, in that case she's screwed, or she needs to be VERY good.

the missed illaoi ults were PAINFUL to watch
When they updated the items for the seasonal update, I saw the potential for Liandry's + Rift stacking on DoT champs. You can even get a bit more spicy and get another Haunting guise for 3 items to stack DPS, though I never mathed it out to see if it was worth taking at any point on top of the Rift+Liandry's.

The soraka was very good, the rengar and Wukong did great damage as well so that was quite big to help winning the game.

Don't worry, your web browser and programs open have exactly zero to do with your ping. Your PC has exactly zero to do with your ping. That's entirely a function of your internet connection and how far it is to the server.
That's not to say there's _nothing_ you can do from your PC to improve your ping - you can theoretically route the signal yourself to get a shorter path - but Opera GX won't fix anything.
