🌱Hello, how are you?🌿
The desert rose (Adenium obesum) can have yellow leaves for several reasons, such as excess or lack of water, nutritional deficiency or pest problems. Here are three tips to avoid this problem:
1. Adequate watering: The desert rose prefers well-drained soil and little moisture. Water only when the soil is dry, avoiding waterlogging, which can lead to root rot and yellowing of the leaves. In winter, reduce the frequency of watering even further.
2. Balanced fertilization: Use a fertilizer rich in phosphorus and potassium to stimulate flowering and strengthen the plant. Avoid excess nitrogen, which can favor excessive growth of leaves instead of flowers. 3. Lighting and ventilation: The desert rose needs plenty of direct sunlight (at least 4 to 6 hours a day). If it is in a place with little lighting, the leaves may turn yellow and fall off. In addition, a well-ventilated environment reduces the risk of fungi and pests.
