I'm liking the upgrade to these 2023 Contenders Football Blaster Boxes! They Finally have some "true" rookie football cards in there, even if they're just of the 3 top rookies, that's pretty sweet! They also have a few cool case hits, and 1 hit per blaster box which is better than typical! Overall, I'm actually kind of impressed with 2023 Contenders Football this year in comparison to previous years... Maybe it's because my expectations were low, but at least I ended up pretty happy with this rip! Have you tried any 2023 Contenders Football Blaster Boxes this year?! How did they go for you?

I picked up a couple boxes yesterday, crazy that these hit the shelves before Optic in my area. I ended up with 3 Strouds in 1 box. Base RC, Red RC and the Rookie Stallion Insert along with a dual patch of Hendon Hooker and Sam Laporta which was cool too. The cards have a nice glossy finish this year. I was actually pleased with this product.
Good pulls. I’ve always believed that Contenders is pretty much a buy singles product. Never been too much bang for your buck.
Sterling Thomas V auto card. Is that an authentic auto or did some employee getting paid $15 bucks an hour do the signing?

The Autograph is a decent hit, I would be happy with that. Contenders is usually a jersey card product.

I pulled a Parker Washington rookie auto in my first break with em. Grab em at target with your red card 🤙
On my first box I got a Kenny McIntosh auto a tua number card and lots of rookie base cards too
Cool video, it's weird how bad they are sorting their cards lately. I mean 2 or 3 years ago it seemed like it was completely random now it's a sure thing that if you get one card you're going to get another one and that's just not how this is supposed to be. People always remember when it's good players but it also happens with ones you don't want too. It's not just CJ Stroud and Bryce Young it'll also be Peter Skoronski and Chad Ryland or whoever.

Just watched Darkhorse rip 5 of the purple contenders "hobby blasters" that they are selling for $50 a piece and there are NO differences other than the color of the box.
Hobby blasters are kinda a scam nowadays. Marked up price for basically the same blaster besides a certain parallel
I guess the QB packing mistake is good IF you're one of the few that gets one, but probably stinks for everyone else.😅
They definitely improved these adfing rookies, autos & RPAs, but they're rare. Haven't seen an RPA hit yet.
Maybe if they added 1 more thing like a case hit or something then people would be happy- maybe.
Takes a LOT to make people happy these days.😅
