I love what Rick said about the price of shares. "Price is of no importance if you don't have a sense of value". Absolutely agree!
Mr. Rule you are not arrogant. You are cognizant of your success and sharing your knowledge with others. We are lucky for this. I enjoy your speaking style. Don't worry about acknowledging your wealth especially when it is relevant and validating to your point.
Rick Rule always makes me feel like I'm not smart enough to be investing in mining stocks...

He is actually helping investors, especially young ones and not simply overpowering everybody with his knowledge, what so many do. Its called Empathy.
I live in Durban, South Africa. The copper coming from Zambia to the Durban ports is huge. Convoys of trucks arrive daily . I assume going to China. This has been going on for a long time.
I did my study abroad in Durban for 3 months, lovely place. Infrastructure could use a fix me up though.
When I was a young kid..I remember the motto when urinium power first arrived... electricity was going to be...too cheap to meter!

Some years back, Sprott had a Natural Resource University section on their website. Is there any way to access that anymore?

It’s free in terms of currency... but he probably gains from other perspective... perhaps getting a gauge of the make up of a “General” mining portfolio... or a teaser for prospective investors with his company? 🤔... I was think of this too haha
I did send them my portfolio of gold/silver stocks and few weeks later of uranium stocks. I really appreciate what they do. First they give you a ranking of your portfolio and a few weeks later you recieve a follow-up mail to see if you're interested in their services. I did respond them I was not interested and recieved another mail in which they wished me good luck and gave an extra tip not to forget to take profits of the table. They also said they where glad to see a particular stock in my uranium portfolio as they do regard that stock as high risk/reward and gave it the highest ranking.
I love listening to Rick Rule. The things he says in his interviews are almost always the same. But in every interview there's always something new to learn.
@@emiels6690 me too - I actually really appreciate this and I am a huge fan -- its just you cant ignore when someone offers a free service and then says if "something is free you are the product" all within 5 minutes lol - RR is very intelligent and knows he is saying this. (and today he looks like he is in vancouver lol - which makes me like him even more :) I dont mind sprott benefiting from providing this service. Big thanks to the entire community of interviewers as well. Love this channel.

They also had this in their response: "Don’t forget to take gains and that does not mean to dial up the risk with the reallocation, you should think about going the other way towards quality royalties."
However, I did not listen. I've held a royalty for several years and they did not deliver on their promise. They always said (in 2015, 2016, ...) that in 2020 they would have a certain amount of gold from their royalties. But they were not even close. And how could they predict something like that? It seems impossible. They put the money in companies that are unable to get a credit line by a bank, that small company promises a royalty of say 20% of the production once they are in production, but those production timelines are years away.

Problem with oil and gas is supply/demand.
He explains things I already know very very eloquently , he never makes any calls though on anything specific....he just uses big words and witty analogies.

Do your own DD. Ricks interviews are always full of gold nuggets, but he's hardly going to give the pot of gold away for free.

@@governmentofficial_23 Bull markets are the authors of bear markets. In the future, this market will collapse, of it's own weight, and the cycle will begin, anew. Further, every secular bull market is punctuated by numerous cyclical declines. These declines can be dramatic, with the representative indexes falling by 20-30%, but leaving the secular bull market in tact.

Loved his comment on Alberta oil & gas. Some of these small cap heavy oil producers are so undervalued it's criminal. Now that we have over $40 WCS though - some of them are going to be FCF machines.
I like Athabasca. Any others to look at?

@@atlantium65 Indeed, all of these companies are sitting on huge reserves. I also follow a company called CREW Energy. My only concern is egress and pipelines, because its what these companies all talk about themselves.

Rick, people own not that many stocks as they write to you. They write to you including the ones that they potentially will consider in the future. Because they want to get the most information out of you, your opinion about the most possible stocks.
Glad I'm not the only one that thinks the U space went too far too fast. Very unhealthy when trying to build solid market structure.
