I think that the parallel between Nasty Nasty and Troublemakers are unavoidable since they are both coed band with sexy concept and in the Korean industry they are the only two that did it recently. Moreover he knock at first remind me of the starting of the Troublemaker's song "Troublemakers". But they did a good job at their performance
Lmao when I first heard this song it was audio only so I thought of of the girls did the high note but when I found out Kevin did it I was all like DAMN boy you got some vocals there!
If I can be honest here, I don't really know why people compare this with Trouble Maker. Well, yes both of the team bring up the sexy boy and girl concept. But they have their own sexy concept. Trouble Maker goes with that sexy story of a couple. But this, they have 2 girls and it tells about a boy can't decide his heart for 2 girls. They are way too far to be compared to each other.
Though I really enjoy Nasty Nasty, I can see where people were coming from, they are similar. What I find similar is the slow, almost jazzy beat, they both involve a co Ed pair that dance pretty sexual (not a bad thing), and the style overall is similar with the color black being the most incorporated in their outfits. Though I like this song better than now, and the singers voices complement each other well. All in all, I think Nasty Nasty is something kpop needs at the moment.
I dont get why people have to judge them for being too similar or copying Troublemaker... not like they are the only group that can be guy/girl.. what about taecyon/baek ji young collab?? Or even most collabs in music.. just enjoy the song and im happy kevin is getting more promos aside from ze:a!!! Nasty~~nasty~~~
they do pretty well on stage i think. just talk about the stage, i don't think they are worse than tm. if you talk about the concept, well, no one have the right to own a concept.
I don't think it's permanently changed, it's just that some broadcasting channels have regulations for the dances, like how some movies are rated PG-13 and some 19+. It just depends on the network; I'm pretty positive that some of their other performances will have the original choreo. :)
