Thank you soo much, it really works.. My phone fall in to swimming pool,, I follow the same step and I did vacuum suction (low power) same day there was water in the display and camera. Then I kept the phone inside the rice packet foe 3 days.. Thank God after 3 days everything gone.. No water in the display and camera... Everybody can follow this method.. Thanks alot

haha i saved my phone with this trick... just put it inside a container full of rice and wait for 24 hours... to make sure that there is no water inside your device you can put it in sunlight for 2 or 3 hours.. in my case my phone didn't responded immediately after pulling it out of rice box, so i kept it in sunlight for about 2 hours and then it started working fine :) ... can't describe how happy i was after that

Mera pendrive gaya tha Pani me by mistake for washing and the pd was in trouser. And I put it in rice for 1 day. The next day I keep it in sunlight and blow air. And finally the pendrive got start. I keep patience..

My lenovo device inside water . I simply opened bur completely and let it dry in sun for 2 hr and it started working.... it's been 3 yrs since and it's still working upto it's best of capabilities

Apart from water, if little bit of coffee have fallen on your mobile then just simply switch off it as soon as possible.
And then,remove the cover, wipe it and place it on a soft towel. Make sure that your phone get heat accordingly. *Don't use drier or rice*
Wait for couple of minutes and then simply turn on your phone. And...
It start working.

Tried this after my phone fell into a bucket of water. Switched my phone off immediately and kept it inside rice container for 24 hours. My phone is working absolutely fine now. Wonderful hack! 👌👌👌

The best way that has worked for me is to switch off the phone straight away and wipe it with a towel. Then place it under the sun just for an hour, twice a day for 2-3 days. The device should be placed on a towel or cardboard i.e. not on a hot surface. My iPhone was functional after 3 days. Never ever use a hair dryer as you can ruin your device. And rice just doesn't work. Stop using rice. Just eat it.

Recently my Mi note 4 falls into water and i keep it for 10 to 15 min into rice bag and it's working perfectly fine,yeah i experienced few lags in the speaker but now it's absolutely fine

Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your attention. I left my mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 8) inside my car dashboard for more than an hour in the broad day summer heat temperature which made my phone near to blast and extremely hot in temperature on the device too. I couldn't even touch or pick up with my barehand from the car dashboard. Tried to take it by means and the phone was still on in normal working mode and showed warning light (red colour) blinking written as device overheated or something that I can't remember it due to tension. And i rushed immediately near the fan to make it cool but it couldn't happen to be and so i took it to tap water bucket and submerged it for nearly 30 seconds. I thought it'll be alright since it's water resistant ips7 something. Later when i tried.. the device kept on switching on and off automatically. It was hard to switch off the device but only waited until the battery drained to zero. I have put it inside raw rice separately on one container. Hopefully it'll be in normal Position in the next 7 days. Since 2 to 3 days is way too short..

What happened with your mobile
I have an iPhone 6 and I accidentally dropped it in water numerous times. The display got a bit discoloured but I kept it in a bag of rice for 3 days and luckily the display returned to its normal colour without any noticeable changes. If you ever drop ur phone in water the only thing that is going to help you is rice.
