My scout leader tried for the Huntsmen Corps, and got to the aspirant phase. I remember us - a bunch of 14-15 year olds - walking a 50 km march with him, as he was training for his trials. Our time limit was 16 hours though, in order to get our km badge, and we were only carrying our daypacks. He was a pretty cool dude. Taught us to play "fireball" as well - basically playing catch, but with a burning, ethanol-soaked, roll of toilet paper instead of a ball. Unfortunately for him, he didn't make it past the aspirate phase, as he didn't pass a psychological evaluation. My best friend in high school was also always very fixated on wanting a military career. He tried for the Huntsmen Corps as well, but unfortunately didn't make it due to lack of orientation skills. He ended up working at the Air Mobile Protection and Recovery wing instead, as part of the Danish air force - basically living in a helicopter for 10+ years now. Their barracks are just next to the Huntsmen Corps'.
its not about cheating or a mistake (in the case of them reaching point 11 together) its the point that they didnt see it themselves, and fixed it themselves. thats what they want from the huntsmen corps
Getting into a situation like those three did. It´s about improvising , getting out/away from the situation you are in very fast. Will that save you ? Maybe, maybe not. Depends on, what the instructors see in you. They are very fare in into the 2nd phase. A lot more for them to learn, think about and adapt to. Thank You very much for a fantastic reaction series (two more to go). Keep up the great job.
My take on the cheating aspect, was that the 3 weren't 'directly' cheating by helping each other but just weren't following the exact instructions given. PS. Sad to see fast drop out :(
How can you be a Dane and have a fear of water?!?! lol I am a little annoyed by the headdives into water I would assume they don't know the depths of. Also don't know if there is a big trunk there you will crack your head on if you had put a few sticks in to test the debth.
They where probably cheating since the instructers have never experienced it that far in it before. They should also know themselves they shouldn't continue to close, it's not something the instructer at marker 11 should tell them. And we probably as well didn't see it all being captured in the video.

This program/show does not really show tactics, special gear and stuff like that. It's more like "pre-training" to become the real deal.
(Fast) 14 was one of the sergeant when i was in basic traning. I only heard good thing about him.

During my military time in DK in the early 80's, we literally did not try on dry clothes for about three months. Crappy time of the year I guess 🙂

So yes they did cheat. Not obeying instructions can and will be deadly in man to man combat
@@and99kurland7 Yes exactly
He said that the decision wa made before he stepped onto that edge. Maybe that's why he couldn't do it.
Turn up your wulume just a bit - difficult to hear when it is at the same level as the spoken lokal ...

about the three of them, you saw they talked while walking.
the 3 people said they cheated themself
Because they were told they did. If you start arguing against the teachers, you're out.
our king has taken this from start to the end
not completely correct, our king is a frømand, not a jæger, still special operations, but not the same :)
