I love the battles. I don’t own a Blue Punch and as I’ve mentioned before I have a Rytan RY2000 duel punch. I use my Rytan everywhere, I love the portability of it and like the Blue Punch no need for electricity. However I agree, if I had a need to cut 1000 keys the Framon KX-1 would be the best machine for the job. #Lockboss
It's nice to see the "heavy hitters" of the industry battle it out (I mean Pro-Lok and Framon, not Pete and Javon). Good info and great video, PJ! #AccessLockKeyLLC #HaulinBrass #LockBoss
Excellent comparison, PJ, The Lockfather, and Javon. The KX-1 is more versatile because it could cut other keys besides SFIC. If a person has SFIC, Schlage, and/or Medeco Bi-Axial for an institution locksmith. The KX-1 seems like a no-brainer. It would be awesome if you did a comparison on Framon KX-1 and the Framon 2. Which one should people get? #LockBoss
I really like the versatility I've seen out of the kx-1. It would be a tough choice for me between these I just don't have the level a familiarity with either. But a #lockboss should always be willing to learn. Thanks for the video.
Love the portability of the Rytan punch which of course would be similar to the Blue punch. And as I said before I love the Framon #2. I keep the Blitz in the shop
Another great battle of the machines. Thanks to the #LockBoss 's for the demonstration of the two machines. Thanks CLK Supplies for more great information.
Cool vid. Ole Blue is nice and standard and not having to plug it in, even if you're in the shop is always nice. It's weird though as it's about half the price of an HPC 1200- which cuts everything, you might as well just buy that than.
#LockBoss Battles are always good!!! you get good info Win, Loose or Draw!!!! Have a great day, I could use an SFIC key cutter, all I have is a Curtis 2000, Auto. and S&D keys, or a Foley Belsaw cutter. Guess I need Wish List !!!
The KX-1 does look nice for cutting dedicated systems in the shop. I recently had an electricity outage though that lasted multiple days which meant no powered code machine. The Blue Punch really shines without the need for power. #Lockboss
both are good machines, but I think you hit the nail on the head with your questions. a few keys or large batch each machine can have its place. #Lockboss
Ultimately, it comes down to what your needs are. Versatility, portability, frequency of use, and what your primary needs are. If you frequently use different systems, or cut large batches of keys, the KX-1 is the obvious winner. If you are bouncing between jobs, commonly use 1 or 2 keyways, and cutting smaller quantities of keys, then the Blue Punch is better. #lockboss
Love that machine. Both the punch and machine are awesome but I could see the machine being more versatile. Either way I gotta get one sometime soon, my 1200 got boosted and I’ve been cutting to code with depth and space keys for everything. Saving up for something that does it all but could use an easy sfic rig as that’s most of my sales. #LockBoss
The blue punch is a great machine, I tend to use our electric machine because of some hand and wrist pain. Easy to make mistakes on any mechanical punch when you try to go fast, personal experience applied! #lockboss
I don't think I can say anything that hasn't been said. They are both great machines in their own right. I wouldn't turn either of them down. #LockBoss
#LockFather makes a good point re Power, How many watts does the KX-1 draw? Can you use a portable inverter or do you need a more hefty one. Nice work Team. #LockBoss
For me it’s all about time. The blue punch clearly spits out keys much faster. Once you get into a rhythm the keys practically cut themselves. Can’t say that about the Framon. I’d much rather cut a 1000 keys with the blue punch.
Really enjoy seeing the key machine battle continue. 🎉 #Lockboss
I love my Pro-Lok blue punch! I have cut hundreds of sfic keys with mine and every one of them works. Definitely feel like a #Lockboss when I use it!

Love my 1200! I have to admit I see the value of the more portable punch. Great battle as always!! #lockboss
Blue punch and framon sfic video I like them both thanks guys. James estep locksmith #lockboss#lockboss
Love the key machine battles. Looks like no one is a looser here. I would settle for either one

Very interesting. Thanks PJ. #Lockboss

Another great key machine battle. Nice to see a little more on KX-1. The punch is cool because you don’t need electricity. #lockboss
Amazing video and love the expert opinions! #lockboss

These battles are great! #lockboss
Wish the blue punch was one punch machine diff alignment bars …Instead of four or five punch machines
Both Have Their Place. Nice To Have One Of Each #lockboss
I think you said it best…There was no loser! #LockBoss

Very true-PJ
Thanks for sharing! #lockboss
It's nice to hear the pros and cons from those using the machines. Thanks everyone! #lockboss

Another awesome battle! #Lockboss

Going to look into a purchase of one or the other...... #lockboss
Love my Blue Punches, but would love to add that Framon to my arsenal. #Lockboss
Another great battle my friend. #Lockboss
I definitely would love to have a KX-1 for production work. #Lockboss
Both are great machines. However, if I HAD to choose only one, I'd go with the Framon. Having said that, I'd just rather get both. #Lockboss
Haha I like the Lockfather with his AK(X1) at the end. Ga ga ga ga ga! #LOCKBOSS
Obviously LockFather won! 🍭🍭🍭🍭🍭 #lockboss
I never tried a punch machine but now may try one #lockboss
#LockBoss. I miss using the blue punch. But yes I agree, if I have to cut 1000 keys I would definitely use the other machine.
great battle #lockboss
Both are great machines but I like my blue punch #lockboss
Personally I prefer the punch, no elec requ and very consistent.
I'm used to the Pro-Lok myself but it does get tiring when you have a lot of keys to do. #Lockboss #Lockfather
I don't think I can say anything that hasn't been said. They are both great machines in their own right. I wouldn't turn either of them down. #LockBoss
Lockfather showing that he’s the true #lockboss

Interesting, Eastern Oklahoma #LockBoss
I agree if you have a lot of keys to cut the Framon rules. #LockBoss
I’m a framon man. Well built and reliable. #LOCKBOSS
cool video, #lockboss

The blue machine sounds like a stapler
