Best rendition of this piece I've heard - amongst several. Well done Nordic Choir and Maestro Hightower.

Just found this last evening, was stunned by its beauty, and am again moved to tears as I listen now. Thank you, Luther Nordic Choir.

At 3:10 when the men sing" Vi De," the choir hits a perfect dynamic balance across all voice parts for the climax of the song. Beautiful and radiant. I don't know about anyone else, but the Altos make this song for me =)

You are right, Chansten, that section cuts right to the quick. Layers and layers of pure sound.

This is one of my favourite pieces of choral music, and this version has to be one of the best I've heard so far; So beautiful, so moving. Thank you.

    Why are they arbitrarily swaying?
    This music is glorious.

This piece is extraordinary difficult to count. They’re probably swaying to feel the pulse of the music.
And I totally agree! I’m singing this for my Christmas concert and it’s my favorite piece in the program.

As an Asian I say that, for me, white race create the most rich and comforting choir sound than any other race.
Perhaps it's because Western music has been developed by them. White people know how to make the best out of western music. It's a great asset to humanity. Please don't criticize me as a racist. I am not. I'm just being honest to myself.
