The setting is in similar worlds, but SMG4 videos are in The Mushroom Kingdom whereas SGA videos are in Mobius I think. SMG4 is a Meme Guardian and protects Mario for he is The SMG4 Universe’s Avatar whereas Sonic is The Avatar of The SGA Universe protected by, you guessed it, SGA. Bowser isn’t really that much of a villain whereas Dr. Eggman is… your guess is as good as mine. I need to watch more of SGA to find out. SMG4 has War of The Fat Italians as a tie in for Arcs, but IDK what SGA does for HIS arcs yet. Whatever Mario does in SMG4’s videos leads to more things (gaming videos and other things that Mario does not related to SMG4 Episodes excluded) meanwhile, SGA’s videos just show Sonic not understanding SGA’s slang. Sonic seems to be more intelligent than Mario. SMG4 has an evil twin: SMG3. SGA’s evil twin is unknown. I’ll watch the rest for cast similarities and differences.
